Her eyes were fixed on the deep nook over the wall as she wrapped her both arms around her legs. She was chewing the inside of her mouth as her mind was processing many things hastily. Her gaze flew from the wall to her en suite where her suitcase and clothes were back in place. She was harshly stretching her fingers into each other to control herself. A while later, the door of her bedroom knocked slightly. She quickly moved and laid flat over the bed, covering herself with her duvet.

From the brown silhouette of her sight, she could see her sister peeking inside. Daneen took a breath of relief seeing her safe and sound. Her footsteps sounded and then Andaleeb felt a shadow lurking above her head. She closed her eyes tightly, wanting to indicate to Daneen that she had slept already.

Daneen patted her forehead. "Thank God, you are fine."

She stayed for a while more, probably making sure that the surroundings of the room didn't harbor any change that could show any sign of Andaleeb's rebellion. Getting assured by everyone, Daneen corrected the covers over her body and left the room.

Hearing the click of the door, Andaleeb snapped open her eyes. She hurled the duvet away from her body and sat back. A darkness invaded her eyes in anger for everything and everyone but she had to prevent herself from giving rise to any problem, which could make her suffer instead.

She recalled the phone call she had with Aurang, shortly after she packed her suitcase for fleeing away.

"Baby, don't do that. Think carefully. If you will leave your house exactly after your engagement, every suspicion will point towards us. They will track you with me within no time. We will not be able to see any future. Your father wouldn't waste a second shooting me. You will be left with nothing. Give this matter some rest. Let us make a better plan. One of these is I making myself a better person to appear as a proposal for you in front of your parents..."

"My marriage is in just five months, Aurang. You don't know my father. He will never approve you for me even if you become the prime minister because you are my choice," she almost cried out.

"I won't leave you, sweetheart. I will fight for you. But first, let me see things. I don't have any reasonable living arrangement for you even," Aurang confided.

Andaleeb sighed. "C'mon, Aurang. I can live in a desert with you even. I just need your companionship."

"Baby, look. Take a deep breath and relax. Don't make yourself obvious. Act normally with everyone as though you forgot me. Accept your fiance and this marriage. This way no suspicion will be put on us. Even if there will be, they will find no ample time to find us. In the meantime, I will try to get a job in Dubai. I have already applied for a company. I'll take you to Dubai. On your wedding day, you will become Mohid's bride for every eye to see but in reality, you will be my bride. You will flee from your house and we will find a place to hide. By then, you will have some money with you too which would help us and our future."
