When you were told that you were ruining his career.

You sat in the practice room, waiting for Heeseung to finish his dance rehearsal. It was one of those rare days when you could visit him at the HYBE building. You watched him through the glass window, his movements precise and captivating. You felt a smile creep onto your face, pride swelling in your chest.

However, your moment of bliss was interrupted when a familiar voice called your name. You turned to see one of the company managers, Mr. Kim, walking towards you with a stern expression.

"Y/N, can I speak with you for a moment?" he asked, his tone serious.

You nodded and followed him down the hall to an empty meeting room. The atmosphere was heavy, and you felt a knot form in your stomach.

"Y/N," Mr. Kim began, "I need to talk to you about your relationship with Heeseung."

You frowned, confusion etching across your face. "Is something wrong?"

He sighed, looking at you with a mix of sympathy and frustration. "It's not personal, but your presence around Heeseung is starting to cause problems. The fans are noticing, and it's affecting his image. Some people are saying you're ruining his career."

Your heart sank. "Ruining his career? But... we try to be discreet. We're careful."

Mr. Kim shook his head. "I know you are, but even the slightest hint of a relationship can cause a backlash. It's just the nature of this industry. I suggest you give him some space, at least for a while."

You felt tears prick at the corners of your eyes. "I don't want to hurt him. I just... I love him."

"I understand," Mr. Kim said softly, "but sometimes love means making tough decisions. Think about it."

You nodded, biting your lip to keep the tears from falling. "I'll... I'll think about it."

From that day on, you started avoiding Heeseung. It broke your heart to do so, but you convinced yourself it was for the best. You stopped visiting him at the company, declined his calls, and avoided his messages. Each day felt like a struggle, but you pushed through, hoping it would help his career.

A week later, you sat in the café, staring blankly at your untouched coffee. Your phone buzzed on the table, displaying Heeseung's name. You bit your lip, fighting the urge to answer. With a deep breath, you declined the call. It was for the best, you reminded yourself.

Just then, your phone buzzed again, this time with a call from your sister. Grateful for the distraction, you answered.

"Hey, Y/N! Want to come over and hang out?" she asked, her voice cheerful.

"Sure," you replied, trying to sound enthusiastic.
