As Maya steps forward, her violin trembling in her hands. She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself, but her body shakes with the force of her tears. She places the violin under her chin, her eyes closed as she struggles to compose herself.*

“For you, Love. This is for you.”Maya whisperi to herself

Maya closed her eyes, take a deep breath feeling the weight of the moment.   It is the favorite song of Liam Titled: “Somewhere Only We Know” begin to fill the air, each note a tender, aching whisper of love and loss. The mourners stand silent, their breaths catching as the music wraps around them, a hauntingly beautiful melody that speaks of all that was and all that will never be.

🎻🎻

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river, and it made me complete

Maya's fingers moved with grace, each note flashback their  memories with Liam. The melody paly beautifully, full of emotions together with a gentle breeze. Tears falling in many eyes as they listened, remembering Liam's laughter, his kindness, his care and more.

Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old, and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired, and I need somewhere to begin

As Maya played, memories flashed through her mind — Liam's laughter in the park, their late-night conversations about dreams and fears. The song echoed their shared moments, their secret places known only to them.

And if you have a minute, why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go, somewhere only we know?

The final notes hung in the air, fading into the quiet of the evening.  The reality of the cemetery snaps back into focus, the memory fading away like a dream. Tears glisten on Maya's cheeks, and she lowers her violin, her heart heavy with the weight of goodbye. Around her, the mourners were moved, hearts heavy with the weight of last word, and  goodbye.
