Avery's POV
Dahil tapos na ang holidays ay back to school na naman. I was putting on my uniform because I had a demonstration today, nakapangnurse ako na damit ngayon. We always wear this during demos.
I was sitting in front of the vanity mirror fixing my bun hair when Tyler came out of the bathroom, nakatapis lang ng bath towel ang pang-ibaba niya.
I only looked at him briefly because I didn't want him to catch me staring again. He went straight to our walk-in closet, and after a while, he came out in his school uniform.
"Did you take your medicine?" Tyler asked as he buttoned his longsleeve uniform.
I almost forgot. "Oh, not yet. I'll take it now." I immediately took my medicine on my bag and drink some water.
I noticed that since he knew about my illness, he had been taking care of me more often and reminding me of things.
"Today, Secretary KC will be fixing Tyrone's room," Tyler mentioned.
I nodded. "Okay, that's good." It's been four days since Tyrone has been here, and we've been letting him sleep in one of our guest rooms, which hasn't been decorated yet.
We went downstairs and found Tyrone eating breakfast, sinusubuan siya ng pagkain ni Secretary KC.
"Good morning," I greeted him with a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning, Mommy!" Tyrone replied, he drink his milk from the glass.
Tyler patted Tyrone's head. "Morning, buddy."
"Good morning, Daddy!" Tyrone said with a big smile.
We had talked to Tyrone about calling us Mommy and Daddy since we were now his parents.
It's just amusing that before, it was just Tyler and me sitting at this big table to eat, pero ngayon tatlo na kami.
As we sat down for breakfast, Tyrone looked up at me with curiosity in his eyes. "Mommy, why are you dressed like a nurse?"
I smiled at him. "I'm studying to be a nurse. That's why I wear this uniform for my demos. I cleaned the wound on your head before, remember?"
Tyrone's eyes widened with interest, and he turned to Tyler. "Daddy, what are you studying?"
Tiningnan naman siya ni Tyler at sinagot. "I'm studying to be a lawyer."
Tyrone's face lit up with admiration. "Wow, Daddy! You're going to be a defender of the oppressed!"
Tyler and I exchanged amused glances, pleased by Tyrone's enthusiasm and bright mind.
"That's right," Tyler said, ruffling Tyrone's hair. "I want to help people who need it."
