They knew they were going to be best friends. The bell rang, recess...the worst time of school for a lonely kid. Amanda took her hello kitty lunchbag and sat in the bench that was farest from people. Philip saw her and walk straight to her.
-Hi-he said
-Hi, Philip, right?
-Yes...ehm...
I like your eyes, a lot.
-Really?
-Of Course.
-Well, you are the first person to say that.
-I don't know why.
-So...do you like drawing? -No, not really, I only draw things that i really, really like.
-Me too, I'm not the tipical girl, i don't have a lot of friends.
-Well, me neither.
-Really? You look so funny and nice.
-Actually, I think I'm not very social. I don't have any friends.
-Well...You have one now.

-What do you do after school?
-Well...i usually watch T.V. or go to the park.
-Nice, i like parks, you can see a lot of people and animals.
-I don't-she said- everyday i go to the swing that's in the park in front of my house,but no one is with me, I see the other kids playing together, but I'm always alone with my Mom.
-Oh, that's sad.

The bell rang again and the went to the classroom.

After recess, they didn't speak again. The were separated...again. He finished his homework, took a pair of chalk, one red and another blue.
-Mom? Can we go to the park?-he asked.
He arrived at the park and saw a little girl, with a pink dress and a red bow; he inmediatly knew it was her.
-Hi
-...What? What are you doing here?
-Making you don't feel alone never again.
At night, they took one chalk and go directly to a tree that was there. Both draw an infinity symbol, one red and one blue. Below the blue symbol, she wrote "Brother" and below the red one, he wrote "Sister"
-You have to promise that we will be friends forever-she said.
-Forever and ever.
-I'm glad i have a friend like you-she said.
-I'm glad I'm with you.
-And you'll always be. Right?
-Forever.
