It has been about roughly 7 months since you had joined headquarters, sure it was easy going as everyone there was pretty nice but it still had its ups and downs as it usually does. There was usually commotion with Anger harassing fear or Disgust literally about to barf because of something disgusting, although it was something to get used to it didn't seem all that bad.

Unfortunately you only just found out that you came late to the party as the new emotions had already been there before you for quite some time, as you greet them you feel a bit off with Anxiety confused with Embarrassed and you seem to enjoy Envy's company and it seems like you two are gonna be great friends but then you turn to Ennui. "Bonjour.." She says in her unfazed deep tone of voice she usually has, your gaze linger on her for a few moments gazing at those lifeless ultramarine eyes until you caught yourself and quickly responded. "Oh, yeah hello there...Ennui is is?" Ennui paused for just a half second as she noticed that you got her name right, she then simply nodded as she went back to the usual unamused expression.

"That was odd' you thought as you went back to finish getting ready for the day, you already felt like today was gonna be a different day and it most likely would be. As the day goes on you find yourself just doing simple tasks around the headquarters as the main emotions do their job at the front of the room, the other emotions chime in every now and then if they just felt like it which was mostly anxiety of the newer emotions. As you were just sitting down for a few moments you just relax there as the crew chat away at the console about a sweet moment in time, at this very moment the door opens at the right side of headquarters and a grandma looking emotion comes out.

"I remember back in my day..." She was about to say but was cutoff by none other than Ennui. "Oh lala... you're so past tense Nostalgia.." she says in a breathy unamused tone of voice while slumped laying down on the couch and her face glued to the phone, she didn't even bother to look up but Nostalgia did leave. You sat there blinking in confusion of this situation as you tried to calculate what just happened but you couldn't think straight, all that was playing in your mind over and over again was Ennui saying. 'Oh lala..' over and over again although the image is just a video edit in your mind making her look blinding beautiful.

You sat there for a few seconds before shaking yourself out of your thoughts before taking a deep breath and holding it for a second and getting up, you walked over to Ennui's couch and sat right down next to her as she natural just scooted over a bit to give you space to sit although you were silent for a bit before speaking finally. "Hi, I'm.._insert emotion_" you said as you looked at her softly, she lazily looked back at you just with a blank expression. "Ennui, as you know it.." she says before looking back at her phone, you looked downwards towards the floor fidgeting for a bit before looking back at her.

"Y'know..when I met all the other emotions I I felt out of place..but you have a more calming aura which makes me feel a lot calmer which is nice" you say as you smile softly and glanced to the side, she would then glance back over to you without turning her head. "Is this true?" She asks in an unreadable tone of voice, you looked back and nodded slightly. "Yeah, I think your pretty chill." You say honestly while smiling warmly towards her, Ennui then sighs and sits up from her lazy position before looking at you with a bit more interest in her eyes.

"Well, that's quite the compliment coming from you..I guess" She says with a slight smirk, you blush a bit before looking away as you felt like you might have said something wrong. "So, how long have you been here?" You ask her trying to change the subject, she thinks for a moment before answering. "Oh, about a month or two now I think." She says casually, you nod your head in understanding.
