LYRA ENTERS THE LIBRARY WITH A SMILE. She decided to spend the night with her sister, Hermionie. She is currently studying astrology and is struggling with it so her sister offered to help. She just needed to run down and grab some textbooks.
She scans the signs hanging from the ceiling magically until she spots the words ' ASTROLOGY ' in big letters. Lyra instantly heads down the isle. The girl stops when she hears faint moans down the hall. Lyra is not a nosy girl and doesn't want to see anything but the books she needs are were they are.
Lyra peeks around the shelfs, trying to avoid looking at the the two during a moment of pleasure. She freezes when she sees who it is. Cormac and Delphi. The girl gasps which draws their attention to her. Cormac had been dating Lyra for a week but that wasn't the point. He still cheated.
Cormac jumps up and throws his shirt on. "Lyra it's not what you think!" Bullshit. Lyra looks him in the eye, tears welling. "I fucking hate you. Never will you ever deserve me, I hope you rot in hell with your whore you selfish piece of shit!" She yells, not caring about the other students in the slightest.
"Lyra!" He yells but doesn't run after her. She's glad she found out but it still hurts. Many thoughts of selfworth running through her mind as she rushes through the halls of hogwarts. Tears streaming down her cheeks along with her mascara.
Once she gets to the gryffindor common room, the potrait swings open to reveal Hermionie. "I was just going to look for you-" She stops when she notices her sisters state. "What happened?" Hermionie asks while pulling Lyra in a tight hug.
"He cheated" Lyra chokes out. She feels pathetic for reacting like this. They'd been dating for a week but it's the constant thoughts if it's something she did. The girl starts hyperventilating.
The two fall to the floor slowly but Hermionie doesn't let her sister go. Tears falling from her own eyes too. Lyra is too sweet for this. She doesn't deserve it. "You're fine Ly, take deep breaths"
