Episode 8: Ghosts of the Past
Camp
Shortly after the six campers left for the boat
Third Person POV
After the campers were out of sight of the grave, the rocks covering Patrick's body began shaking. One of the rocks fell down as a hand burst through the grave.
The hand pushed it's body upwards through the rock. Patrick pushed his face upwards and stood up in shock.
He looked around.
"Yaz?" He asked when he suddenly noticed the grave.
"Awe crud." Patrick growled.
He paced back and forth assessing the situation.
He had no idea how long he'd been dead for.
Wait.
Dead?
He looked down at his fist and closed his hand. He walked up to a nearby tree and punched it, splitting the trunk in half. Patrick stumbled back in shock and looked at the palm of his hand.
"They gave me Mirikuru." He said to himself.
He sat down when suddenly he heard a banging noise in the distance. He looked around in confusion.
"They would've left by. Now." Patrick said to himself in defeat. "I'm alone again."
Suddenly he heard the banging noise again, this time right behind him. He stood up and spun around meeting a terrifying sight.
Adrian Chase
"Hey kid." Chase said.
The vigilante was holding the same pistol he held Yaz hostage with. He had a sword on the back, and a quiver of arrows.
"No... you died." Patrick said in shock. "Rexy killed you"
"Well, here's the thing." Chase started. "You and Yaz never went back for my body."
He raised the pistol causing Patrick to sprint for cover. He fired 5 shots, all of them missing.
"Come on man! You've seen people come back from certain death before!" Chase screamed as Patrick hid behind a tree. "You were poisoned, you drowned, fought a mutated Carcaradontasaurus, and you're still here!"
Chase fired more bullets into the tree Patrick was hiding behind. He peaked around the tree aiming the gun. Before he could fire Patrick grabbed the gun and threw it in the distance.
