[ Jake has been off cigarettes for awhile, but one day he just relapsed. ]

It's been a few weeks, two to be exact, since Jake quit smoking and was using his Zyns, but today he was having a rough day, with being overstimulated since the morning he woke up.

Jake grunts as he covers his face, hearing Johnnie walk down the stairs. Even the simple sounds of footsteps walking down stairs was a simple agitation.

Johnnie was a little worried about Jake, and he decided to sit down next to him. He didn't say anything, just stayed by his side and let him know that he was there for him.

Jake felt Johnnie's presence, but due to the intense craving of tobacco and the nicotine. He wasn't feeling good. The Zyns didn't have that much nicotine as cigarettes do.

"I know you're trying to quit, and I'm proud of you for that." Johnnie looked at Jake with a reassuring smile.

"Shut up, Johnnie." Jake says as he gets up from the couch. Wearing his casual red plaid PJ pants and a black ""wife-beater"" tank top. As he got up, the necklace he always wore swayed a bit from the sudden movement.

Johnnie was taken aback by Jake's sudden outburst, but he didn't take it personally.

He knew that Jake was going through a lot and that he wasn't himself right now. "I'm just trying to help, Jake," Johnnie said softly. "I'm sorry if I said something that upset you."

Jake suddenly got more agitated, "Johnnie! fuckin' hell, look I know! I know!" he raises his voice a bit, pacing a bit around the living room.

Johnnie watched as Jake paced around the living room, his agitation growing. He knew that he had to stay calm and not escalate the situation.

"Jake, I know you're frustrated, but yelling isn't going to help. Please try to calm down." Johnnie's voice was still gentle and reassuring, but there was a hint of firmness to it.

"Leave me alone," Jake muttered as he walked over to the front door, opening it and slamming it shut after grabbing his keys.

Johnnie watched as Jake stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind him.

He was worried about him, but he knew that Jake needed some time to himself. He sighed and sat back down on the couch, feeling a little defeated.

Carrington walks down the stairs, with his usual happy smile on his face. "Hi Johnnie!" he greets as he makes his way down the steps.

Johnnie looks up at Carrington, trying to muster up a smile despite his worry for Jake. "Hey, Carrington," he says softly. "How are you doing?"

"Doing okay, where's Jake?" Carrington asks before looking out the window and seeing Jake's Tesla speeding down the road.

"Jake left a few minutes ago," Johnnie said, his expression becoming a bit sad. "He's been having a rough day and needed some space."

"Oh ok. did his routine get thrown off or something?" Carrington asks, walking into the kitchen that was next to living room as he is grabbing himself a soda from the fridge.

Johnnie follows Carrington into the kitchen, leaning against the counter. "I think it's more than that," he said, sighing.

"Jake has been struggling with his addiction to cigarettes lately. He's trying to quit, but it's been really hard for him." Johnnie explained.
