RYLIE
"So what's up with you and Zach?" Dylan questions as he picks up a slice of pizza from the tray and shoves it in his mouth. Him and I decided to meet up at Monty's Pizza to catch up on some stuff.
I roll my eyes before picking up my paper cup and drinking Dr. Pepper out of it. "I kissed Aaron after we got into a fight." I blurt out.
"What?!" he nearly chokes with he food in his mouth. "When, where and why?!"
And so I tell the entire story. Where we were, and how it happened. I even demonstrated some poses we made. And by the time I'm done Dylan is literally fanning himself.
"Goddamn that's something straight out of a movie." he giggles to himself. "Imagine kissing the Aaron Parker, that's practically my dream."
I nervously chuckle not knowing if he's joking or not.
"I'm not kidding, Rylie. Like it's on my bucket list."
I shake my head and laugh.
"Oh, that's right you don't know." he concludes before chomping down another bite of pizza. My eyebrows knit together in confusion. "Ry, I'm gay." he admits.
"Oh, you are?" I question before breaking out in a smile and shrugging one of my shoulders. "I always had a feeling."
Dylan laughs before throwing a pepperoni at me. "Okay but like, you got to break up with Zach sooner or later, because he's slowly going to make you lose yourself more and more, day by day."
I shake my head. "Yeah I know. But maybe this time he'll be different?" I question, still trying to convince myself, but deep down I know he won't change, I just so badly want this to work out."Hey have you heard from Kasey?" I suddenly ask, "I haven't heard from her for like two weeks now."
Dylan simply shrugs and shakes his head. "No, but Aaron said something about her yesterday when I called him."
"Like what?"
He shrugs again, "I dont know. Something about what happened at the track." Dylans eyes immediately widen. "Never mind you won't know anything about it."
And my heart drops to my feet. "What the hell happened at the track?"
"No, nothing. Don't worry about it, Ry."
"Tell me."
"No." he shakes his head.
"Yes."
"No."
"Why? Did they do something to her?"
Dylan's eyes narrow. "I can't, Ry."
I drop my head in defeat and sigh in frustratio.
"But all I can say is that Zach and some friend of his said some pretty fucked up shit about you and Kasey." he explains. "So I can understand why she isn't talking to you or anyone."
"What the fuck did they say?" I demand, "Did they do something to her?"
"No, of course-"
"Because I swear to god Dylan, if they touched her." I scowl to him, while anger seams through my bloodstream.
"No, they didn't, Rylie. It's just she's going to need to tell you herself." he affirms, while softening his eyes. "It's just not my place."
"But were you there?" I ask.
