A girl lives in London in 1940 just before the war starts and she is unemployed and lonely until one day when she is at the post office she bumps into this guy and they start talking,he is only in town for a few days so they decide to go on a date and they both enjoy it but then the guy has to leave.So she decides to give him him her address so they can keep in contact. They part their ways after a couple of weeks no letters come but then suddenly a random letter comes.This starts them talking a lot through letters.The main story is the letters and the letters should contain laughter and flirting and an description of their lives.His live is all about traveling and exploring where her life is about getting a job and friend but some stuff will not be put into the letter s just their p.o.v.In his life he always thinks about when traveling (he travels because he doesn't want to go to war -christian) so he stops traveling after the war and saves up to return to her but he doesn't tell her this as a surprise and In her life that she doesn't put in the letters she is so sad and lonely after he stops sending letters to her she turns to other stuff and then one day he returns.Sitting on her porch he says something funny and they fall into each other arms and if u wish to wrap it up neatly you can have them now having children and are married.
