Chapter 27: The meeting

POV KOKICHI:

One week passed and nothing really happened in that time. Me and Shuichi didn't spend that much time with each other either, because well, shuichi has other friends too. I wonder when he will talk with Kaito again..

I stood up and looked around in my room. My body was shaking like crazy. I didn't realize how nervous I was till today. I mean..what if something goes wrong there? I mean yeah it's only a person that shows me around and everything but still. I slowly walked into the bathroom and made myself ready. I Atleast gotta look nice..maybe shuichi will like it too..heh. NO! I dont need to think about that..it's about my health yeah..well but it doesn't hurt to think like that either. GOSH. I just walked out and started to search for shuichi. I then found him standing outside. I basically ran to to him.

Kokichi: SHUMAI!

He completely jumped up and screamed a bit while I laughed and smirked. He breathed in and out deeply and then stared to look at me annoyed.

Shuichi: morning to you too kokichi.

Kokichi! Heh~ yeah morning. And now, don't look so grumpy!~ I know you missed me!

He blushed a bit and shook his head frustrated. I couldn't stop myself from thinking how cute he looks while he blushes. I stared at his face softly and my eyes caught every little detail. Today was a very sunny day and the sun fell in his eyes in the perfect way. I slowly got lost in his eyes. Suddenly, Shuichi looked in my eyes as well. I blushed embarrassed and looked away.

Shuichi: do I..have something on my face?

Kokichi: nope, haha.

Shuichi: y..you sure?

Kokichi: come on! Don't you trust me? That's so meaaaan!

He sighed frustrated and just ruffled my hair.

Shuichi: please..just shut up..

I got quiet and looked at him. He did have some eye bags, but that's something he has really often. Was he alright or was I just really annoying him that much? I decided to be more serious now.

Kokichi: are you alright?

Shuichi: h-huh? Oh yes I am.

Kokichi: you can't lie to a liar, you know?

He sighed and gave up.

Shuichi: it's just, gosh. It's about Kaito. But I'm not gonna tell you today, because I don't even wanna think about right now
Today is only about you. Anyway...my aunt will be here in some minutes. Well..and eh..could you promise me to take everything serious today?

I nodded to make sure that he knows that I understand him. I then promised him to take everything seriously. Not like I wouldn't have. He probably just wanted to make sure since there are some days where I can't be serious. After i promised, he fell silent and stared at the sky. I then let out a shaky breath. Gosh, it was slowly really hard to hide my nervousness. I looked down and tried to calm myself down. She would be here any minute now and then I would talk to a therapist...for the first time.
I fumbled around with my clothing nervously, then suddenly shuichi took my hand into his for a moment. I blushed as i felt the warm sensation of his hand. I looked up at him.

Shuichi: you don't need to be nervous...remember it's not even a therapy session yet. Also, I'm there, right? Your not alone.

He squeezed my hand and then let go of it. I missed the feeling of his hand already but I of course didn't show it.

Kokichi:..I'm not even nervous but..your right heh.

I smiled and right as I said that a car came that looked familiar. A woman came out with a bright smile.
