"Get up, an owl brought your school list!" a voice called, rattling Ella awake.

"Ok ok, I'm up!" she said sitting up, "I'll be dressed and ready to go in 10."

Ella rose from under her blankets tiredly, changed into a white shirt, jean shorts and her oversized leather jacket. The last thing of her mom. Supposedly she was wrapped in it when her mother died. Her dad took off and she was left all alone to fight off death eaters.

After she combed her hair and brushed her teeth she went downstairs. Her grandparents sat at the dining room table talking.

"Suppose you'll be off now?" her grandpa questioned.

"Yes, just waiting on Julie." Ella said going to stand by the fireplace. The flow network was a common way witches and wizards travel.

"And here she is," she reached to get some flow powder when the maid came around the corner.

"Good, you're ready," the woman said grabbing flow powder. She turned to two people sitting at the table, "We'll be back by one." and with that they are off.

They first walked to Gringotts to extract money for books. Of course the Owens's vault was at the very end of the track so it was long enduring ride. Nevertheless, it was just another thing Ella had grown used to. The swerves and the motion sickness didn't bother her anymore.

Julie picked up some coins and put them in a bag, "Any left over you can have for this school year."

Ella knew there would only be a few left but accepted it either way. It was better than nothing. The cart started up again and she was sent a wave of nausea.

(pretend it's on a letter)

"You go find your books I'll be here waiting." Julie said. With that Ella set off to rummage around.

Ella was almost through the line of people waiting to get books when she saw Aj looking through one of the book shelves. When I got up to the front and I gave the man my supply list. He heaved a great sigh and made his way over to the cage that held all the monsters books. When he went to grab one of the books, one started attacking him.

The girl looked around to see if the was anyone around to help him. It took him a second but he got the book under control and into a bag. He set off to with the bag to get the rest, returning moments later with a bag full of books.

"Thank you," she says handing him 10 gallons. Ella then bustled over and gave Aj a hug. He was taller. Finally tall enough to say he is taller than her.
