I woke up to a white room, and a shit ton of IV's in my arms.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a bare faced Rhea Ripley, asleep in the chair beside me
I looked down to see multiple stitched up cuts placed upon my body
Not the self inflicted ones im used to but still.
Rhea slowly starts to wake up and I give her as I can
She returns my gesture with one of her own
"Hi, how are you feeling?" She asks genuinely concerned
"It hurts but nothing I can't deal with." That seemed to calm some nerves she had
"Do you need anything? Like water or food? I was planning on running out anyway." She stands up
"Yeah. Can I have your number so I can text you it?"
"Of course!" I hand her my phone and she puts her number in."
"I'll be back in a bit!" She hands me back my phone and she heads out the door.
Dana: Where are you going?
Rhea: There's a Panera right up the street. Do you want something there?
Dana: OOOO yes please! Can I have a mac and cheese bread bowl and a papaya green tea?
Rhea: Sure thing doll ;)
I had to put my phone down after she sent that because my face was beet red.
After 10 minutes, I hear the door creak open and she pokes her head in.
"Hope you didn't miss me too much." She smiles holding a huge bag in her hand.
"Of course I did." I smiled back.
She sat down and gave me my stuff.
As we were eating, she decided to fill the silence.
"You know Dana. You really kicked ass yesterday. I have to say out of all the people in the match, I was most drawn to you." She states.
"You were amazing but why me?" I ask curious
"Well you have that amount of brutality I like, and you are just an incredible athlete." She explains
"Awh thank you so much!" My smile basically takes over my entire face.
"Oh. We're Raquel and Liv dating? Because of Liv saying they were done." I ask
"Yeah, they had been dating for like a year. Liv found out Raquel was talking to Shotzi, and obviously she was pissed."
Rheas smile completely drops as she says this
We finish our food, and by that time a nurse came in to give me some medicine.
"This will make you very tired, but you can leave tomorrow." She says and I thank her.
"She was not kidding, I feel super tired right now." I look at Rhea and she chuckles.
"Good night Rhea." I lay down.
"Sweet dreams Dana." She gets comfortable
Then sleep took over me
