After about five minutes, James finally realized. "Wipe that smug look off your faces! I'm getting tired of all this thinking stuff, let's just flee the country! I hear that Hoenn is a lot warmer than here!" Jesse disagreed. "Well Kalos is a lot fancier, and has tons of great shops! There are a lot of dark alleys, though." Somehow with Jesse's disagreement, James seemed to agree with her. "That's perfect! We'll hide in the dark alleys, where nobody will be able to find us!" "Then let's leave already, I'm getting cold!" Meowth stated.
The Rocket Trio sneaked throughout the city with as little contact with anybody as possible. Finally they made their way to an airport. "Finally!" said James. "Let's go already!" Before he could run, Jesse grabbed a hold of his shoulder and stopped him. "But James, we're broke, and Meowth can't use payday. We have to find some other way." James's face fell in defeat. "I guess you're right Jesse. We'll find another way to Kalos, so don't you fret." " I wasn't." James scoffed. "Alright, how about we just build a boat. We'll make it out of scrap metal and stuff." Jesse sighed. "That would take forever to finish, James. Can't we just be stow aways? That'd take a lot less time." James nodded in approval.
After going into the airport to check for flights to Kalos, they began to hatch their plan. "We could just mix ourselves in with the rest," said Jesse. "Or we could board a bit before the plane takes off." They all agreed that sounded like a better idea than possibly getting recognized through the crowd. They moved at the speed of light (no pun intended) onto the plane. They hid in the cargo compartment. Once they had finally found a good spot and position for them to hide, the plane took off.
They were so anxious to flee Sinnoh they hadn't realized how long of a trip it could be. After about ten minutes, they could already tell it would be hours. It was a very boring ride. They resisted the urge to fall asleep, because if they didn't they would risk being asleep until the plane landed and found when they would come to move the cargo. After an hour or so, a message came on the intercom. "Attention all passengers, this is your captain speaking. We will be experiencing some slight turbulence soon so please strap in. Thank you for riding (some airline name)" "Huh?" "Turbulence?" As soon as they had asked these questions, they were answered with a violent shift in course. The cargo James was hiding behind slid and forced him onto the wall. The two huge cargo things Jesse and Meowth were hiding between slid together, squishing them up against each other.
After a while, the turbulence had finally stopped and the members of team rocket had some time to relax. "Well," started James. "What?" asked Jesse. "....that wouldn't have happened if we just strapped in." Jesse smacked him on the head. "Hey James, I know you said you didn't want my opinion on your stupidity, but my opinion is that you sure have a lot of it." James smacked Meowth on the head.
