chase walked through her work doors and off to her car , she unlocked it by pressing ' unlock' on her key.
she worked at the children's hospital and sometimes the adult part but she loved it , she loved dealing with kids. the kids were always a bundle of joy when she was around.
chase had a black mercedes with pink interior , chase wasn't rich but she wasn't poor.
chase always kept everything neat if not she would go crazy.
she hopped in and closed the door , now heading to the house which wasn't far , she stopped at a red light.
on her radio station her bestfriend malani named popped up.
" helloooooo" she answered while driving past the now green light.
" you on the way home from work?" lani asked.
" yeah , I'm off tomorrow though" chase explained.
" good let's go get drinks" lani suggested.
" I'm down , I need a drink or sum" chase said entering her neighborhood.
" okay just let me know pooks" lani called chase.
" okay , imma call you back let me get in the house" chase said
" okay , love u" lani expressed.
" love you too" chase said hanging up and parking in her driveway.
she cut her car off and opened her door , she stepped out and closed it while holding on to her things ..
she started walking up to the door until she heard 3 gun shots.
" what the fuck?" she said getting down , the gun shots came again then nothing.
she heard scuffles towards her and started praying that she was safe..
good thing chase was a nurse and she knew how to heal anything , it was the principle.
" you good li mama?" a deep voice appeared
all she saw a tall figure , she couldn't really describe anything else because that's all she could see.
she stayed quiet because she didn't know who it was , or what it was.
he laughed " I'm js making sure you safe mami , go inna house" he said again.
