The others managed to catch up with Luffy during the shouting match, and just like what happened the first time she's in Marineford, Sengoku decided to expose her paternal connection to Dragon, which elicited a bout of stunned whispers throughout the crowd.

Luffy wasn't at all bothered by the revelation and focused on making her way towards the podium. Ivankov and Jinbe were now running alongside her, with Bon Clay already being handed over to one of the Newkamas for safe keeping from the beginning. Though they eventually separated as Jinbe took on Gekko Moria and Ivankov, Kuma.

There was a movement to her left, and Luffy leapt out of its trajectory. The next thing she saw was smoke floating around a familiar face. Luffy blinked in surprise at the sudden presence before cracking out a smile, "Smokey!"

Smoker narrowed his eyes at her, "You've changed since I last saw you, Mugiwara." He stated before launching himself at her once more.

Luffy narrowly avoided his smoke and jumped around him, still smiling, "A good change, I hope." She bantered lightly, her attitude drastically different from how she treated the other Marines, "It has been a while, Smokey."

Smoker didn't react to her and kept on barraging her with his attacks, only to keep on missing her due to the contrast of their speed.

"You've become stronger, Mugiwara." Smoker growled in anger, his brows scrunched together as he wondered just how he had fallen so behind from his ultimate objective.

"Aw, thank you, Smokey!" Luffy grinned at him.

At the enthusiastic response, Smoker gritted his teeth around his cigars and gripped his jitte even tighter, "But it's of no matter because I'm going to defeat you!"

"No, you can't." Luffy said, her tone was not of malice. She then let Armament Haki coat her hands and caught the jitte straight on without showing any signs of weakness. The action caught Smoker so off guard that Luffy was able to punch him in the guts, propelling him a few feet away from her. "Learn more and grow stronger, Smoker. Then come find me after you mastered Haki."

Luffy was about to continue on her way when another person spoke her name.

"...Luffy?"

This time, it was a feminine voice that called her.

Luffy turned around to see Boa Hancock looking at her with a confused expression. "Hancock." Luffy smiled at the Snake Empress, her smile slightly apologetic as she knew exactly why the woman was looking at her that way.

"You're now... a girl?" Hancock asked, her eyes lingering around the obvious mounds of her breasts.

"Yeah, um..." Luffy scratched the back of her neck as she gave her a rough answer of "I feel better as a girl than a boy... so I changed my body...?"

Boa Hancock slowly nodded. Her view of women being better than men helped her accept Luffy's reasoning, even if that's not quite the reason why Luffy changed. Hancock eventually smiled - it was a genuine smile that's different from the blushing smile that she used to give Luffy when she was a guy - and said, "You look beautiful, Luffy."

Luffy smiled at Hancock and went in for a hug, "Thanks, Hancock. And I'm sorry." She said, as she felt Hancock return the hug, "You'll find the one who'll love you as much as you love him. I promise."

As she ran off with Ace's handcuff keys in her hand, Luffy pondered what she should give back to Hancock in return for all her help. She senses Smoker getting up before trying to pursue after her, only to be stopped by Hancock.
