Jungkook gripped the steering wheel tightly as he drove through the bustling city streets, his mind racing with thoughts of Iseul.

He had tried calling her multiple times that morning, but each call had gone unanswered. Frustration and worry gnawed at him, but he tried to focus on the road ahead.

Beside him, Jimin sat quietly, occasionally glancing at Jungkook with concern. He knew his best friend was going through a lot, and he wished there was more he could do to help.

"Hey, Kookie," Jimin said softly, breaking the silence. "Don't worry too much. Iseul is probably just busy or needs some time to herself."

Jungkook sighed, his grip on the wheel tightening. "I don't know, hyung. It's just... everything feels so messed up right now. I don't understand why she's ignoring me, leaving me is one thing but this is another, it doesn't change the fact that she's still my wife."

Jimin placed a comforting hand on Jungkook's arm. "I'll talk to her when I get home tonight. I'll try to understand what's going on with her. Just focus on your day and try not to let it get to you too much."

Jungkook nodded, appreciating Jimin's words but finding it hard to let go of his anxiety. "Thanks, hyung. I don't know what I'd do without you."

They pulled up to the company building where Jimin worked. Jimin unbuckled his seatbelt and turned to face Jungkook, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Take care of yourself today, okay? And if you need anything, just call me," Jimin said.

Jungkook managed a small smile in return. "I will. Thanks, hyung."

Jimin stepped out of the car and waved as Jungkook drove away, his heart heavy with concern for his best friend. He watched until the car disappeared from view, then turned and walked into the building, determined to get through the day and talk to Iseul that evening.

Jimin then set up his things in the studio, preparing for another long day of work. As he was adjusting the microphones, the door suddenly burst open, and Taehyung and Jin stormed in, their faces alight with curiosity and excitement.

"Jimin!" Taehyung's voice was almost a squeal. "Who was that guy who dropped you off? He's so handsome!"

Jin nodded eagerly, eyes wide. "Yeah, we've never seen him before! Spill the tea, Jimin."

Jimin sighed, trying to keep a straight face. "That was Jungkook. You know, my college best friend."

Taehyung's jaw dropped. "Wait, the Jungkook? The one you've been ranting about for ages? The one you're always talking about?"

Jin's eyes sparkled with mischief. "The same Jungkook you've had feelings for? Wow, he's even better looking in person!"

Jimin blushed, trying to focus on his equipment. "Yeah, that's him. He drove me here this morning."

Taehyung flopped onto the couch, shaking his head in disbelief. "I can't believe we've finally met him. You always talked about him, but I didn't think we'd ever see him in the flesh. And wow, he's a real looker."

Jin leaned closer to Jimin, his curiosity piqued. "So, what's going on between you two? I mean, it's pretty obvious you still have feelings for him. Did anything happen?"

Jimin's blush deepened. "Nothing happened. We're just... reconnecting. He's going through a tough time with Iseul, and I'm just trying to be there for him."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Uh-huh. And how do you feel about all this? You can't tell me seeing him again hasn't stirred up old feelings."

Jimin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's complicated, okay? Seeing him again has brought back a lot of memories and emotions. But I don't want to ruin our friendship by bringing up the past."

Jin nudged Taehyung. "I think our boy Jimin is still head over heels for Jungkook."

Taehyung nodded in agreement. "Definitely. And honestly, from the way Jungkook looked at you when he dropped you off, I think there's something there on his end too."

Jimin looked between his friends, feeling a mix of hope and fear. "He's my sisters husband! Shut up"

Jin placed a hand on Jimin's shoulder. "More like  your sister's ex husband" he stated

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah we saw you talking to Yoongi hyung before and we're on your side, there's something going on here."

As the day turned to evening, Jimin's mind was still occupied with thoughts of Jungkook and Iseul. He had finished his work and was now heading back to their apartment, his resolve strengthened by the need to support his best friend.

When he arrived home, he found Iseul sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone. She looked up as he entered, her expression neutral.

"Hey, Iseul," Jimin greeted, trying to keep his tone casual.

"Hey, oppa," she replied, her voice devoid of emotion.

Jimin took a deep breath and sat down across from her. "Iseul, we need to talk."

She raised an eyebrow, setting her phone aside. "About what?"

"About Jungkook," Jimin said, his eyes searching her face for any sign of remorse or concern. "He's really worried about you. Why are you ignoring his calls?"

Iseul shrugged, leaning back against the couch. "I just needed some space. Is that a crime?"

Jimin frowned, feeling frustration bubble up inside him. "It's not about needing space, Iseul. It's about communication. He's your husband. You can't just shut him out like this."

Iseul's expression hardened. "Oppa, you don't understand. There's a lot going on right now, and I don't need you or anyone else telling me how to handle my marriage."

Jimin sighed, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "Iseul, Jungkook loves you. He's trying his best to make things work. You can't keep pushing him away."

Iseul looked away, her jaw clenched. "I'll talk to him when I'm ready."

Jimin knew he couldn't force her to change her behavior, but he hoped that his words had at least made an impact. "Please, just think about it. He deserves better than this."

Iseul didn't respond, and Jimin stood up, feeling a mix of frustration and sadness. He walked to his room, leaving Iseul alone in the living room, hoping that she would come to her senses before it was too late.

As Jimin made his way to his bedroom, he was immediately hit by the familiar scent of Iseul's perfume. It clung to his side of the bed, sharp and invasive, a sign of her presence and the turmoil she had brought into their lives. His mind raced with thoughts and suspicions, each one more troubling than the last.

He paused, staring at the bed, the scent triggering a wave of overthinking. He remembered the look in Jungkook's eyes, the desperation and confusion. He wanted to tell Jungkook everything, to warn him, but he knew he couldn't—not yet. Not when everything was so fragile and uncertain.

Jimin sighed, pushing aside the growing dread in his chest. He needed to be strong, for Jungkook's sake. With a heavy heart, he turned away from the bed, determined to find a way to fix the mess that had become their lives.
