Avery's POV
As the early morning sunlight filtered through the trees, I found myself awake far earlier than usual, gently nudged by Tyrone who was eager to go for a walk outside the village. Kahit inaantok pa ako, I couldn't resist his infectious enthusiasm.
"Mommy, let's go bike!" Tyrone exclaimed, already strapped into his little bicycle, napansin kong wala itong training wheels sa magkabilang gilid.
I chuckled softly, watching him struggle to maintain balance. Panay reklamo niya at bulong tungkol sa bike na gamit niya.
"Alright, but take it slow, okay?" I guided Tyrone carefully as we made our way out of our neighborhood.
The cool morning breeze was refreshing, clearing my head from the stress yesterday. Nakapajamas pa din kaming mag-ina.
As he pedaled along the quiet streets, Tyrone chattered happily about the ghibli movies he watches when I'm not home.
"Daddy said I should practice more, so I don't fall down," Tyrone declared with determination, trying to remember his daddy's advice.
I smiled warmly. "Daddy is right. Just keep practicing, and soon you'll be riding like a pro."
We passed by a small playground where Tyrone begged to stop and play for a while. Pumayag naman ako sa gusto niya.
Pinanuod ko lang siya, enjoying the peaceful moment as he climbed, slide, at magduyan sa palaruan.
Tyrone waved at me while happily playing.
After some time, we resumed our bike ride, Tyrone now more confident in his skills. I walked beside him, guiding him gently as we circled back towards our home.
As we approached our house, Tyrone suddenly stopped, his eyes wide with excitement. "Mommy, for you."
I smiled at what he did. "Wow, thank you."
"Daddy and I always pick flowers when we go home to our house after we walk every morning. He said we'll give them to you. But you're always busy taking care of us that's why we always put it in our vase."
I was a little surprised by what Tyrone said. "Really? You and Daddy Tyler do that?"
"Yeah," he replied. "Don't you notice, mommy, there's always fresh flowers in the vase in the living room every morning?" He asked with a smile.
I didn't know what to say. I noticed that there are always fresh flowers in our water vase in the living room. But I didn't know that he and Tyler were the ones putting the flowers there.
"I appreciate you and Daddy's efforts. But we need to go home now so you can have breakfast." I just patted his hair.
He ride his bike again, and in just a few minutes, we were already home. We went inside, and I headed straight to the vase in the living room. There were no flowers in it now because Tyler wasn't home.
