..........Jungkook woke up slowly as the morning sun filled his room with warm light. He hugged his stuffed rabbit close, feeling a little more ready to start the day. At fifteen, Jungkook still felt like the baby of the family. He was very shy and didn't know much about the outside world. He had never had any friends and preferred staying at home where he felt safe.
"Jungkook, are you awake?" his uncle Namjoon called softly from the hallway. Namjoon had been taking care of him and his brother Jimin since their parents died when Jungkook was just three years old. Namjoon had always been there for them, making sure they felt loved and cared for.
"Yes, hyung," Jungkook answered quietly. He got out of bed and walked to the kitchen, where he could smell breakfast cooking.
Jin, Namjoon's husband, was at the stove making pancakes. Jin had been part of their family for three years, bringing warmth and kindness into their home. Jimin, Jungkook's older brother, was already at the table, his nose in a big textbook. Jimin was twenty years old and busy with his studies, trying to finish his last year of university.
"Good morning, Kookie," Jimin said with a smile. He always tried to make Jungkook feel happy and safe, even though Jimin himself had been deeply affected by their parents' death.
"Good morning, hyung," Jungkook replied, sitting down and sipping the orange juice that Jin had placed in front of him.
Namjoon joined them at the table, holding a cup of coffee. "Jungkook, today we're starting a new book for your lessons. It's about a boy who goes on an adventure in a magical forest. I think you'll really like it."
Jungkook's eyes brightened at the thought of a new story. He loved books and the way they let him explore new worlds without having to leave the safety of his home. "That sounds great, hyung."
After breakfast, Namjoon and Jungkook went to the study, where they spent their mornings learning and than later namjoon go to his office. The study was a cozy room filled with bookshelves. Namjoon was a patient teacher, always gentle and kind. They worked through their lessons, but Jungkook often found his mind drifting to thoughts of his parents. He missed them so much, even though he had been very young when they passed away.
"Jungkook, are you with me?" Namjoon asked, noticing that Jungkook was daydreaming.
"Yes, hyung. I'm sorry," Jungkook said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"It's okay," Namjoon said with a smile. "Let's take a break."
In the afternoon, Jungkook went to the small garden at the back of the house. It was his favorite place, full of colorful flowers and singing birds. He sat on a bench with a book, but he didn't really feel like reading. He just enjoyed the peacefulness of the garden.
Jimin came to join him later, sitting beside him on the bench. "How are you feeling, Kookie?" he asked, his voice gentle.
"Just thinking," Jungkook replied, leaning against his brother.
"It's okay to think," Jimin said, putting his arm around Jungkook. "Remember, we're all here for you."
Jungkook nodded, feeling the warmth and love from his brother. Even though he was scared of the outside world, he knew he had his family to support him. And in their safe place, he felt like everything might be okay.
