Zoro was stuck, stuck in a dark, dank cavern with no way out. To make matters worse, he was stuck in the cavern with Sanji, who had only moved once, managing to put himself in a sitting position, his back against the wall.
The Straw Hat Pirates had been ambushed by another rival gang. One of the members had had some type of devil fruit power that allowed the user to create tunnels in the ground. The pirate had snuck up both Zoro and Sanji, creating a tunnel underneath them before either could react.
Zoro brushed off the dust from his clothes after his body slowly eased the shock of the fall. Luckily, he had landed on a layer of dust, somewhat cushioning his fall, though it still hurt like a bitch. The rest of the cavern was covered in small, pointed rocks.
Zoro's swords were scattered around the room and he tentatively took a step forward, making sure his balance was normal. When he wasn't met with any resistance, Zoro grinned, picking up his swords and storing them back in their holsters.
The cavern continued on in both directions. Zoro could faintly hear the sounds of fighting from above and hoped the rest of his crew were kicking the other pirates's asses.
"Well isn't this great," Zoro said sarcastically, looking up to where they had fallen from.
Sanji remained mute, giving a small nod in response.
Zoro felt his eye twitch but he did his best to keep his voice calm, "any ideas on how to get out?"
When Sanji didn't respond, Zoro scoffed, "really? Your giving me the silent treatment right now?"
Sanji looked at the swordsman, his voice barely a whisper, "The others will come for us, it's best to just remain calm."
"Fine," Zoro replied shortly, sitting against the wall opposite the cook.
When the silence became unbearable, Zoro broke it, trying to make light conversation, "Do you think the stupid bastards got their asses handed to them yet?"
Sanji just shrugged, his eyes slightly unfocused.
Zoro peered at him, mentally debating with himself about his next question, "you good, cook? You don't look too good."
"I'm fine."
This time, as the silence enveloped them, Zoro noticed a faint dripping sound, not quite like that of the water dripping from the stalactites. Trying to figure out where it was coming from, Zoro glanced at Sanji again, though his wasn't looking at his face. Instead Zoro noticed that the sound seemed to be coming from the blonds arms, his sleeves were ripped and what Zoro had assumed was water, dripped down his arms and onto the rocky ground. Upon further inspection however, Zoro noticed the liquid was too dark to be water.
"You're bleeding," the swordsman pointed out and Sanji gave him and unimpressed look.
"Really? I had no idea," he drawled, not even glancing at the blood dripping down his arms.
Zoro frowned, "are you going to bandage it or..?"
"I can't move my arms genius."
"Oh."
Standing, Zoro took off his shirt, walking over to Sanji, who glared up at him, though Zoro could faintly make out a tint of pink on his cheeks.
Zoro crouched down, ripping his shirt easily. Sanji went stiff when Zoro lightly gripped his arms, keeping them still as he tied the shirt around his wounds.
When he had finished, Zoro glanced at Sanji, finding the cook already staring at him with an expression Zoro couldn't quite read. They were close, close enough where Zoro could feel Sanji's breath against his face.
The swordsman found his gaze drift down to the others lips and before he could stop to think about his decision, Zoro kissed Sanji, quickly pulling away as realization hit him.
"I don't know why I just-" Zoro stopped talking when Sanji connected their lips again.
Zoro's eyes widened before he gave in, kissing back.
The kiss, that had at first been one of impulse, quickly grew heated and more desperate.
At last, they pulled away, both their chests heaving as they caught their breath.
Zoro began to say something when his eyes caught on something next to him. Zoro let out a yelp, jumping back, Luffy's face right next to him.
The captains neck was stretched, the rest of his body somewhere at the surface.
"Hi," Luffy grinned, "one second."
He retracted his head back up to the surface and then stretched his arms down near Zoro and Sanji, groping around until he grabbed hold of both of them, quickly bringing them back up to the surface.

The crew sat around the table as Sanji placed down food. Nami had sat down next to Zoro without a second thought causing him to frown.
Nami inspected Zoro and he could practically see the cogs turning in her head, "you and Sanji-kun haven't fought at all since you got out of that cavern."
She said it like a statement, not a question.
She narrowed her eyes, before asking suspiciously, "why?"
Zoro kept his face unreadable and shrugged, "that's between me and the cook."
"Something happened down there, i'm sure of it."
The End
Is it just me or is writing make-out sessions awkward? I really try to add more detail but it just makes me cringe so I usually keep it brief and it's driving me crazy. Might be because i've never made out with anyone...
ANYWAYS, I actually wrote a longer part this time! Yippee...
Q: Who's your favorite One Piece character?
A: Robin, Franky, and Ace...
I kinda lost motivation to watch the series when I found out about the death of a certain character so my knowledge of the show is limited to that point.
Lmk y'alls responses in the comments and i'll be back tomorrow with a new ship!
Tomorrow's ship is Blairon!
