As we all know about aespa, they have this world or storyline that the company created as a concept for the group.

With each and every song released by aespa, the fans seem to be indulged in this concept more and more.

So the company created ae-S/N (Stage Name), a fictional character in the aespa concept world, just like naevis and decided to debut him in the real world.

That's how a 2004-born Kang Y/N, was chosen as the representative for ae-S/N. A talent scouted by the company that has been a trainee for a few years now.
