"Karthik!!!"

"Karthik!!"

"Karthik!!"

"What??" Karthik yelled.

"Boss is calling you to his cabin," Surya said.

"OK, now you guys don't shout. I'm going," Karthik said in a stern voice.

Karthik went to his boss's cabin.

"Arun, did you call me?" Karthik asked, standing at the door.

"Yes, Karthik, please come in," Arun (Boss) said.

Karthik went inside and sat in front of Arun.

"We are going to have the final presentation of our project tomorrow. Is everything ready for it?" Arun asked.

"Yeah, Arun, I will send you the presentation details. Please check it once," Karthik said and left the cabin.

"Attention, guys!" Surya said.

Everyone turned their attention to him.

"Guys, next week is my wedding. Our project is almost finished and will be completed by this weekend, so I got permission for all of you to attend. So, please don't miss it," Surya said.

Everyone nodded and congratulated Surya, but Karthik continued working. Surya noticed him and called out, "Karthik."

"Yes," Karthik responded.

"You are coming to my wedding, right?" Surya asked.

"Hmm... I will try to come. It's been a long time since I visited my grandma, and she is sick now, so... I may or may not," Karthik said.

"Ooooh.....umm....it's ok, but try to come" Surya said and turned towards Shruti.

Karthik, Surya, and Shruti were classmates and very close friends during their graduation.

"Surya, did you invite everyone from our class?" Shruti asked.

"Yeah, I invited everyone. There's just one more person left. Akshay just gave me their contact. Give me a minute," Surya said. Shruti nodded and continued working.

A few minutes later, Surya returned.

"Who was that?" Shruti asked.

"Pragya," Surya answered.

Karthik's eyes widened. His phone slipped from his grip, and he felt his heartbeat skip for a second hearing Surya saying "PRAGYA".

"What happened Karthik??" Surya & Shruti asked at once.

"Umm....Nothing" Karthik answered hesitantly.

They both nodded, trying to hide their smiles.

Karthik's POV:

"PRAGYA" my first and last love.

Today is my first day in B Tech, and I just entered the campus. Since it's my first day, I have no idea where to go.
