Kara was busy putting together the crib and all the other nursery furniture while Lena and Elizabeth caught up in the living room. Lena had offered to help but Kara told her that she could get it. That was several hours ago, since she wasn't using her super speed to do it she was stuck with doing things the 'human' way. "ARGH!" Kara groaned. Lena was leaning against the door frame watching her wife struggling with putting a crib together. "Having fun love?" Lena asked. "Not really. I should have used my super speed." Kara grumbled. "Why don't you?" Lena asked. "Cause I wanted to do this the regular way." Kara replied. "Well it's almost dinner time so why don't you just speed through this and come join us to order something." Lena replied.
Half a minute later the nursery was set up and Kara was in the kitchen ready to order something only to find that Eliza and Elizabeth had taken over their kitchen. "When did mom get here?" Kara asked. "Two minutes ago. They've kicked me out of the kitchen and said that they'd cook something." Lena replied. "Oh...well ok then. The nursery is put together." Kara said as she sat down on the sofa. "Good, I'm sure Athena will love it." Lena replied was she moved into Kara's arms. "So our mom's....are making dinner...together...is this a good thing or bad thing?" Kara whispered. "Definitely a good thing love. It means they're getting along. Which is what we wanted right?" Lena replied. "Yes..." Kara said.
A little while later Elizabeth and Eliza were calling the girls into the kitchen for dinner. "What is this?" Lena asked. "It's lamb lasagna. It was your....favorite when you were little." Elizabeth replied. Lena looked at Kara who smiled at her. "And there's a chocolate pecan pie in the fridge, which is Kara's favorite from when she joined our home." Eliza added. Elizabeth served up hearty helpings of the lasagna onto everyone's plates before taking a seat herself.
