"Will this be everything po?" The cashier asked, I nodded in response.

"Your total will be 85.00 pesos." I got my wallet out of my bag to pay for my school supplies, only when I realized I was short 70. In my mind I was panicking, I didn't have time for this, I was going to be late. All until this guy holding a mathematics book in his hand showed up.

"Here," he said handing me the exact amount I needed. "And ito po yung akin, miss." As he handed over a chess board to the cashier. "Salamat ah, ano pala name mo?" I asked him with a smile. But he just smirked and left. I was left there, shocked and thankful. And then I remembered I still had a class to catch.

I arrived to my class, just on time. I see the same guy who paid for my stuff. The seat next to him was vacant, though my friends Kyle and Alexander were signaling me to come over to the back. Yet I chose to sit with this mysterious guy at the front.

"Hi, ako yung kaninang nilibre mo ng school supplies, my name is Nash."

But he just gave me a dirty look and went back to reading his math textbook. Nerd alert.

After 15 long minutes of waiting for our adviser to walk through our doors, he finally did. It's not like I could understand anything he said, I just hated sitting in silence with some nerd who doesn't even have the decency to introduce himself.

AN HOUR LATER..

After an hour of pain and suffering, class had finally come to an end. I immediately headed to my friends, almost halfway through the hallway.

"Huy! Hintayin niyo naman ako!" I shouted, finally getting their attention.

"Uy pre! Sino yung katabi mo kanina? Pinili mo pa siya kaysa samin ah." Alexander sarcastically said.

"Papano, kanina kulang ako sa money, siguro napogian sakin kaya nilibre na'ko." Then we all bursted out laughing.

"Huy, may balak pa ba kayo pumasok sa next sub? Tara na!" Sabi ni Kyle.

While we were walking up the stairs, nakasalubong nanaman namin ang mysterious chess playing, math solver na with a jerk attitude still managed to help me out with my kakulangan sa pera.

"Hi again, anong pangalan mo?" And just like I expected he ignored me and walked off. Hays, another attempt failed.

"Kawawa ka naman bro! Hahaha." Alexander said teasingly.

"Ewan ko sayo, tara na nga." I replied, looking back at this mysterious guy's face, his hair falling perfectly in place, his eyes sparkling in the sun. What was I thinking?! Anong kalokohan 'to?! Hays, I'll think about this later, what's important right now is for me to get to class.

RECESS..

I was getting my food at the canteen when a girl passed by, long hair, glasses, and a pretty smile. After I got my food I walked over to talk to her,

"Hello, sorry if I'm interrupting ha, it's just I thought you were really pretty and wanted to ask if I could get your fb?"

She and her friends all looked at eachother, then she looked back at me.

"I'm sorry ha, pero kasi, I have a boyfriend.." she said with an akward smile.

"Oh, it's alright. Well, see you around I guess?"

"Yeah, sorry ha.."

I walked back over to my friends table, just to get teased, again.

"Anyare sa heartthrob na kilala namin? Nagbakasyon lang naging soft ka na ah." Kyle teasingly said. I give him a dirty look. And continued to eat my lunch, peacefully. Which was interrupted when Alexander pointed out the mysterious guy.

"Uy! Si Mr. Yoso pala 'to eh"

He just looked back at us and walked away silently. Was this guy really that stubborn to not even bother introducing himself?!

UWIAN..

Finally, time to go home. After a tiring first day I finally get to get a goodnight's sleep. The only problem was I had to carry around 4 books, and the worst part was I didn't have a bookbag to carry them, so I had to do it the old-fashioned way, carry them by hand.

Not far from the gates of the school, I dropped all four of these books, I just sighed and went to pick them up when someone was already doing it for me. Just when I look up, I see....
