That it's better if we part today.
But my heart's caught in yesterday,
Can't you see I'm begging you to stay?
I'm still in love with you,
Even though you say we're through.

When every part of me holds on.
You found your peace, or so you claim,
While I'm left picking pieces of our flame.

But losing you, I'd change if I could.

I wish I could set you free,
