APRIL 20th,
EVELYN SAT IN THE CAR, starting out the window, listening to Gracie Abrams. They were headed to the restaurant.
Alex gently nugged his sister, "You good in there, lyn?" Evelyn look at the boy and nodded, "Just a bit nervous."
"You'll be fine, lyn."
After a few minutes, Alex, Max, Melissa and Evelyn had finally arrived at the restaurant. Evelyn was wearing a nice black dress with her hair down.
As the group approached the restaurant, Max opened the door for them. Evelyn gave the man a small smile which he returned.
The group checked in and made their way to their designated table. My breath hitched when I saw Walker already seated there.
He looks so good, she thought, evie quickly shook away the intrusive thoughts as she moved to sit next to Lacey and her family. But James stopped her.
