Rimuru PoV
I have dance lessons, with a demon lord, and his name is Guy Crimson. Why am I only thinking just now when it has already been decided and unchanged if doing this was even a good idea or not. I'm not able to think straight and throughly with my decisions nowadays. Wonder why.
But, I've brought this upon myself, and I have to deal with it.
Right now, I'm standing in front of the door that leads to the room. Guy said where we practice, is this even necessary? Like, the Ball's literally tomorrow...
I took a deep breath before opening the door, Guy standing there with his arms crossed.
I carefully entered the room, shutting the door right after.
The room was quite large, not too large as well. It had two big windows seen the moment you eneter, it was also pretty empty. But there in the middle was a table where Guy sat on.
"Took you long enough to open that door." Guy said, staring at me with an arched brow.
"You said 'be here in twenty minutes', and I came three minutes early, so I used that time to rethink my life choices." I said, Guy's response was but a chuckle, approaching me and cupping my face, making me jolt"Well, we should start now then. Wouldn't want to ruin your big day tomorrow."
.
."I have told you that I haven't danced, right?" I asked, "Yes, I know. That's exactly you’re here." He replied with a sarcastic and nonchalant look.
"So... how are you supposed to teach me?"
"I'll teach you as we dance."Guy put his hands on my waist, and our fingers intertwined with the other as he held it gently.
His hands had a rough texture, yet it felt soft in my grasp. This feeling... what is it?
I placed my right hand on Guy's neck, Guy had a chuckled reaction, making me confused. Wait, did I place wrong?
"Your hand should be on my shoulder, not my neck."
"Oh, sorry..." I looked away in my embarrassment, this... is so awkward...I'm gonna die of cringe, I kee this was a bad idea! If I hadn't been so flirty and just denied the offer, then this wouldn't have happened...
"Straighten your body- Rimuru... you're back to holding me the wrong way." Guy said, adjusting my hand placement from his neck to his shoulder.
When we got into position, Guy pulled me closer by the waist. Its grip was thight yet gentle somehow.
Then we began dancing... not really dancing, we were just twirling around, as I tried following Guy's footsteps, causing me to accidentally step on his shoe occasionally.
The music is the rather calm type, more like a lullaby. It was a duet played by a piano and violin. Its sounds were made by magic, I believed it was Guy who was behind this calming theme.
-You're learning a lot faster than I expected, Rimuru.
-Really? I'm stepping on your foot, though.
-Actually, you aren't stepping on my foot after a few minutes of dancing. Usually, it would take a few more minutes or hours.I kind've expected a rather strict teaching, but he's actually gentle with his teaching, guiding me on the things I'm doing wrong, and if I made a mistake he would make me do it again and again until I got it right.
I honestly don't know what Gazel meant when he said, 'Guy Crimson is a dangerous man. I suggest you be cautious around him.' Or maybe he's just giving that 'sort' of impression.
We continued our little dance for a while, little by little, our rhythms blended with each other like swans.
Guy's voice instructing me on what I'm doing wrong felt like music to my ears... I'm having mixed emotions, I'm not able to focus, yet I'm able to focus.
