Kim's pov

We've been walking for hours

I stopped right into my track , it feels weird , I feel like I'm being watched

"What're you doing?"

He asked

This keeps getting weirder

"I feel like we're getting deeper in here , the fog is growing and it smells weird , are you sure this is the right path?"

"Yes , let's keep walking"

Strange..

But I didn't follow

"What about the others? Shouldn't we search for them?"

"They're fine , they can find their own path"

"Get away from me"

I said lowly , knowing he's not my brother

I'm so stupid for trusting something like this

"What?"

He turned around looking at me , the copy of him haunts me

I took a step back

That's scary

"Why are you stepping back? We're near the exit"

He imitates his voice , exactly the same as his , I took my knife out of my pocket on my jacket

"You're not my brother"

He kept staring at me , what's it's problem? I feel like I just got myself in troubles by following this thing

It's scary , I didn't think that this forest have scary creatures

It tilted it's head , showing a creepy smile

Now thats my cue to run because that shows I might get killed if I just stand here and do nothing , I swiftly started running , I heard loud footsteps

It's literally following me with it's loud footsteps , Vegas did not mentioned about some sort of fucking creature!

Because I'm scared of it and I'm literally running for my life , I dare not look back , if I do , that will only slow me down

I spotted a cave , I ran there , it might be a safe spot

The footsteps behind me was getting slower , was it not following me anymore? I took a quick look and saw it stopped there , not following me

Was it tired?

"Shit!"

I thought this was a cave , I didn't think there would be a hole! Glad I only slide down but why was there mud if its a cave?

My arms are burning , I got some cuts ans they were bleeding , must be from sliding down

I stood up , looking around , I looked up and wonder why didn't it follow me? It stuck me in my mind to why he didn't come here , just a minute ago , it was following me intensely

I looked to the front and almost screamed but a hand blocked my mouth , I was sweating , I saw Macau in the corner of my eyes

I'm lost now

What's that thing? It's gross , it's slimy and huge , it's pointy , was that a fucking monster? I can't describe it in certain ways , it got close but Macau put his finger to his mouth , indicating me to not make a mouth

I slowly nodded , that's scary , I came across a copy of my brother and now this? What's waiting for me out there?

That pointy thing was gone , it retreated itself , Macau removed his hand but told me to stay silent , he pointed his finger up to the exit of the cave

I put my hand together , maybe this can work

He put his foot on my hands

I put my hand up and he jumped , he got up

He gave me his hand , I grabbed it and he pulled me up

He grabbed my sleeve and started running , we ran for a while but I'm still wondering what was that

What are these things , what is this forest about

He stopped running and I did too

"What was that?"

"I can't say what it is , it can hear but can't see , it's blind"

I looked up , it's still sombre , I can't tell if it's day or night but I'm tired

"We need to find the other's"

I said

"This forest is huge enough , we should assure our safety first before finding them , you must have come across something that took copy of one of us"

"I did but when I came near the cave , it retreated"

I wonder why

"Because that thing you saw in the cave is not only one but there are multiple of it in there , if we wander further in the cave , we would've die , it's not safe to stay near that cave"

Macau said , I sat down

"It seems like they're scared of it , that monster"

I said , maybe they're terrified of it

"They are"

I'm bushed

My legs are sore from running

It's tiring

"It might take days to find Vegas and your brother"

I stayed silent

"I'm sure they're safe , we came here once so if we want to get out of here alive , we shouldn't worry about them but ourselves , they can find the exit by themselves , Vegas knows the path"

"I don't think it's a good idea , 2 of us might get killed if weren't vigilant"

I said , thought I don't know what's hiding in here

"I thought Vegas sad to not trust anyone"

"That thing took form of my brother , how would I know?"

"Fair enough"

We stayed silent

"Give me your hand"

I looked up , a string? No , not a string , a rope?

"Where did you find a rope?"

"Inside the cave , seems like some people died there , leaving their supple so I took it"

Now I'm noticing a bag with him , I didn't see it earlier , he attached the rope on my wrist

"We wouldn't have to worry to get lost now"

I'm still worried about those two
