All Might's POV
"She's ill-fitted for this school, the moment she walked through our halls nothing but the aroma of chaos trailed behind her." A voice I don't care to identify voices their complaints, among with many others within the student board. Only Aizawa appears complicit in the foregone silence.
"I understand your concerns, but I have made my thesis clear. She will be given one more opportunity to remedy her mistake, otherwise I am under instruction to escort her to the authorities. That was the arrangement." Nezu speaks from the head of the table, frustration and fatigue lined into his features.
I'm not at liberty to discourage his claims, I was the one who shook hands with the lieutenant, securing the deal bounding Sunako Kaida to me. What an idiot I had been. So prideful in my abilities to ensconce hope in a civilians heart, so steadfast in my mission to bring relief to those who sought my help. And that's just the thing, isn't it? Sunako never needed my help, she wasn't running to find her knight in shining armour, nor was she relieved to run into the arms of a hero, an esteemed one at that. That negligence to saviour should've been enough to understand the warning signs flashing directly at me right from the beginning. But alas, the bountiful man I am, I stretched my hand out to her regardless of her contempt, and brought a viper prowling into a den full of mice. In the case that she digs her claws into this school, and poisons it with her barely contained spite, I should not be declared guilty by association. That doesn't scare me though, all I need to do is unmask that she is none other than 'The Reapers Child', the hooded figure who has wreaked havoc among Musutafa for many years, they'll be quick to sympathize with my efforts to cleanse her of her sins.
I believed she would be a powerful ally at first, hoped she could be compelled to join the hero's cause, but I was daft at even attempting to look at her in any other way than she was. There comes a limit to a persons power, a line drawing one from blessed to cursed. It wasn't fair, the strength she had at her disposal, the extent to her quirk; and worse was the tribulations behind attaining such power, the crimes she committed in order to satisfy her hunger for potential. There are few things that can distinguish a hero from a villain, but there's nothing more prominent such as morality. Sunako rescinded any chance of redemption the moment she started justifying all the lives she took.
"It's alarming to think she came from such a noble family, I hear her parents were distinguished heroes in the southern parts of Japan."
And there comes the matter of her lineage, I never had the pleasure of meeting Mika and Yuri Kaida; but I wondered what could've possibly went so wrong that their death resulted in the uprising of a criminal. Yuri was found buried in his backyard an estimated week after his death, and Mika was found with bruises around her neck, dead in a random alley in Musutafa. For a long time the authorities presumed Sunako dead as she was missing for months on end with little leads to make them believe otherwise. That was until they caught 'The Reapers Child' seven years later, identifying her to be none other then the missing child. Revealing her to the public would cause outrage like no other, igniting distrust among the hero society, for how could a child born into the arms of a saint turn out to become a heathen? While in custody, the police also found links between Sunako and the esteemed Murakami's. Though they tried to get information out of her regarding their whereabouts, and most awaited, their image, she wouldn't budge, even when they offered to reduce her sentence. Nevertheless, she escaped only a day later, with the help of her presumed allies.
"You have yet to say anything All Might, which is surprising considering how much you resent this student." Ms. Midnight speaks from two seats down, alerting the attention of the room to me.
