Seth Cohen, a few hours later goes to a bookstore, standing in the graphic novel section, leafing through a limited edition of his favorite comic. The place is filled with crowded bookshelves and has the air of an intellectual haven. Dan Humphrey, coffee in hand, stops in the classic literature section, looking for inspiration for his next novel.

Seth looks up, visibly excited to see the world give him another chance to ask Dan for his number and find out what two things already have in common.

Seth: (Smiling) "Hey, I didn't expect to find anyone else here who appreciates a good bookstore. And least of all to you, what are you reading?"

Dan: (Looking up) "Oh, hello. They are already twice a day. I was looking for something from Salinger, but I think I got lost in the wrong section. And you? Graphic novels?"

Seth: (Excited) "Yes, I'm a big fan of comics. It helps me to disconnect.

Dan:" I also like to read to disconnect, although my choice is usually something else... classic."

Seth: (Laughing) "Everyone has their tastes. Hey, are you a writer too? You look like the guy."

Dan: (Smiling) "yes, something like that. I write for the university newspaper and have some things published. And you?"

Seth: "I'm more of an amateur cartoonist and writer. I have this comic book project that I'm working on. Maybe we could collaborate one day. It would be great to combine your writing skills with my illustrations."

Dan: (Interested) "That sounds interesting. I've never written for a comic book, but I'd love to give it a try.

We could create something unique." They both look at each other curiously and a spark of camaraderie ignites. The conversation flows easily as they realize how much they have in common despite their different creative approaches.

They close the conversation with Seth and Dan exchanging phone numbers and promising to meet to discuss their new project. Two creative souls who, in the middle of the vast city of New York, have found an unexpected travel companion.
