Vain, vile, cold, heartless, soulless...huh. Just some of the adjectives that I'm associated with. 'Demonyitang nasa lupa, impyernong tao--yes, I know what they're calling me behind my back.
Being on top of everything, I forgot how the dewy grass felt like, how the cold, stone pavement freezes my foot for a second because for all my life, I'm locked up in the confines of the own world that I built and protected for years.
It's all great and all, knowing people would bow down to me at the slightest inconvenience, afraid of experiencing the hell outside the door of my building without my help.
Maybe my heart really did turn stone cold, didn't it?

Life is full of rare opportunities that passes by in a blink of an eye, as if a speck of dust in the wind.
Some people often hold those opportunities on the palm of their hands, waiting for the eager ones to feed off of it--and they just laugh at the eager ones, slowly losing their touch with reality.
So, maybe the best way to pull them back is to give them a taste of their own medicine.
