Stealing Home

Dodgeball.

I hadn't realized how tired I was until I got in the van, once we left the arena I fell asleep. I woke up in my bed back at camp. I got up and stretched, today we had to go to the airport to get the new campers for the week. I decided to stay back at camp. After practicing some tricks on the trampoline, I was walking around and introduced myself to some of the new campers that were arriving. Just before our evening dodgeball game we had free time, I went back to my room to get my phone so I could listen to music while me and my friends went on a hike. I didn't get any service in the valley, people said you can get it on the mountain, but I refuse to bring my phone because I'd break it.

Once we got done with our hike we went to the dodgeball court. Jack and Luke picked teams, I was chosen by Jack because Austin told him to pick me, He was here the week before. I looked around I was the only girl participating. I didn't care, I loved dodgeball. After five minutes we had ten people left, and Luke was smack talking us.

"Why did you pick the Molly second? She's not even doing anything." Luke asked Jack, laughing. Right after that two people threw balls at me at the same time, one towards my feet and one at my head, I managed to dodge them both. After ten more minutes it was down to me and Luke.

"Hey babe how's it going?" Luke asked.

"Pretty good." I said back.

"Ready to lose?" He asked.

"Why are you talking to your self?" I asked him. That received a few "ohhh!"s and "burn!"s from the crowd.

He threw his ball at my face, I deflected it with my own but it flew out of my hand. The only other ball on my half was on the other side if the court. I started to sprint to the other side, I was five feet from the ball when Luke threw another ball at me. My first instinct was to slide; the ball passed a foot over me. I grabbed my ball and threw it as hard as I could at Luke not only did he get hit, but it hit him in his privates.
