The lights inside Video 2*C, a movie store, flickered violently. Clair sighed and looked around for workers so she could check out Terminator 4, but she couldn't find anyone. It was starting to annoy her. What? Had the store clerk gone out for a smoke?

Stiles was supposed to pick her up back at her house in an hour -she had walked to the janky store by herself. And now it seemed like she wasn't even going to be able to buy them the movie.

"Can somebody help me find The Notebook?" The annoyingly familiar voice of Jackson Whitmore whined through the store. Clair grimaced and closed her eyes tightly, wondering how her night had gone from bad to worse. "Hello? Is anybody working here?"

"On the end of the third row... middle shelf," Clair stated bluntly, wanting to get this interaction over with as quickly as possible. "But the clerk is fuck-knows-where so you'll have to wait," a phone started to ring in the background, making her roll her eyes in annoyance.

"You gotta be kidding me..." Jackson scoffed, and made his way over to the shelf Clair was looking at. He raised his brow snarkily at her movie choice. "You don't seem like the type to even know what the notebook is,"

Clair huffed and kept her eyes forward, she really didnt want to look at his annoying face. "I can like romance and action, there is a whole genre built off it. And, for your information, the notebook is a classic when it comes to romance," She gestured toward the aisle opposite of them, "It's also over there, not here,"

Jackson scoffed at her and shook his head, but he left.
He turned the corner and then went still as a rock. Clair's brows furrowed as she looked at his ridged frame, he took slow steps. She had never seen Jackson look so scared. "Jackson?" Clair called in concern, but he didnt turn to face her. His eyes were wide as he stared at something down the aisle.

Clair quickly turned the corner, walking over to him to see whatever he was seeing. Her eyes went wide as she saw the pair of feet that stuck out from behind a shelf. She tensed and immediately her hand fell over the pocket that held her phone, preparing to call 911.
