She couldn't breath.. And she loved it.
After 4 months the initial awkwardness of a new relationship wore off, and at the 6 month mark, she never wanted them to let go.
In the dark, on her couch in the early hours of the night, she was on their lap, completely enthralled in their coffee scent infused with the ocean breeze cologne she loved so much.
(Headcanon of mine)She had forgotten where she ended and they began. She could feel their strong grip roam her body, from her thighs, to her hips. Her lower back to the back of her neck, slipping in her hair, pulling ever so gently. Tasting them was even better, her tounge tangled with theirs, and her small groans escaping more often than she cared to admit.
"Your perfect" they whispered desperately, making her giggle. "Stop saying that, I'm not perfect" she whispered back, brushing her hair behind her ear. The two sat in silence, legs tangled in eachother, smiling. "Raine.. You make me so happy" she gushed, slowly leaning back down towards them.
Their cheeks turned pink, once they wrapped their arms around her again. "Thats amazing, calamity" they said back, pressing a few tantalizing kisses on their neck. Their fingers slowly going under the hem of her shirt. After feeling the contact on her skin, eda shrunk away from them, pushing their hand back. "n-no, not there" she blurted out a little louder than she ment to. Raine flinched, looking up at her. "I-im sorry. I didn't.. I should've.." She suddenly stopped, her gaze slowly sinking to the floor, as she started to move away. Muttering one last. "I'm sorry.. "
Raine sat there confused, and a little hurt, as this wasn't the first time she's rejected their advances. It wasn't like they were trying to take her shirt off, but just wanted to feel her as much as possible.
Shed often move away, or chuckle nervously while gently shoving them back if they dipped their fingers under her shirt. She seemed to shrink away from them if anything other than kissing would dare to happen. Then profusely apologize while holding their hand.
Raine stood up, and grabbed edas hand pulling her back to them. "Hey no, it's okay.. Can we just talk about this?" They asked, wrapping and arm around her stomach. Her back to their front, and their voice in her ear. "Rainestorm.. I-im sorry" she said again, her lip threatening to quiver. "Dont apologize.. I don't want to force you, I just want to understand" they said, sending a shiver down her spine. "I-i.. Cant" eda said, regrettedly. Slowly moving their arms from around her stomach. "I love you Raine.. " she muttered, trying to avoid their gaze she knew would be filled with disappointment. "Is it me?.. " they finally asked, taking a step back. "Of course not!" Eda said, finally looking back at them. "I-i want to, but.. If you saw me, you wouldn't be as enthusiastic" she muttered, more embarrassed than ever.
Raine frowned, letting out a long sigh. "Thats the stupidest thing Iv ever heard" they blurted out, both adults staring at each other. "The hell did you just say to me?" Eda asked, her immediate reaction to Suh a response. "You heard me, thats the stupidest thing Iv ever heard" Raine repeated, then grabbed her wrist. "Who gave you such a dumb idea.. That I would love you any less just been of of some scars, or stretch marks. Or whatever it is your scared of me seeing" they assured her. The ginger woman's heart skipping a beat.
"Your insane.. Y-youve gotta be" eda mumbled, attempting to pull her arm away. "Not insane.. Just a grown up" they said with a smirk, pulling her in. She started to smile, gently wrapping her arms around their neck. "Your beautiful no matter what, sweet girl"
Her cheeks started to burn, burying her face in the crook of their neck. They felt proud of themselves, comforting their girlfriend so much.
