"Sign the papers now miss Landon " Sawyer said, he was a tall well built man, thin brows, sharp dark eyes, high bridge nose and red small lips. Rebel looked at him and took the pen on the table and hastily signed the papers.

" All done lawyer" she said with a smile, Her face became more scary as she smiled, but her white teeth was extremely dazzling.

Sawyer's face tightened into a frown and he turned to the man sitting beside Rebel.

" You are now officially divorced" he said, Rebel couldn't hide her happiness any longer, she has been longing to divorce Evan since the day of her wedding and now she has finally divorced him, she smiled more widely.

She had always been bullied by him and his family but now she has gained freedom.

Soon her smile faded as she sat there, thinking back to when she and Evan met, it was an arranged marriage by her late mother between the Landon family and Smiths family, she didn't want to marry so did Evan and her ugly face worsened everything, and her reputation slowly died down due to her ugly appearance.

She thought that maybe she might gradually be accepted by the smiths family one day, but each day passed and no one seems to accept her, even her own mother in law, they even went to the extent of disgracing her in public and forcing her to do things they want her to do, because she was weak.

She remembered her mother died of a sudden illness when she was twelve, and her face gradually started developing strange acne and red big pimple some days after her mother's funeral .

She was criticized anywhere she finds herself due to her ugly face and poor dressing habits, but the funny fact was that she didn't care and didn't pay attention to their gossip, soon the criticism slowly died down but people still talked when they saw her. When the news about her marrying into the Smiths family reached everyone, they began to criticize the smiths family too for accepting a ugly duckling as their daughter in law. This made madam smiths want to get rid of her immediately.

Madam smiths, who was fond of Rebel when she was young, developed hatred for her, since the whole city has been looking down on smiths family. Even some important wealthy big shots who were friends with the Smiths all scampered away due to the marriage, and the ugly girl! , they feel that being contracted to a family with non attractive people might ruin their chances of international trading.

The smiths hated Rebel for destroying their chance of forming business partners with the big shots with her ugly face, they feared that Rebel will keep on destroying their reputation and their chances of international trading will be thin,so they forced her to divorce Evan , she didn't have problem with that, she was even planning a way to divorce him sooner or later,  divorcing was not a problem for Rebel, she didn't love Evan anyway.

" Rebel " a chilly voice called out. Rebel turned to Evan and frowned.

" What?!" She asked feeling irritated by the bother, she knew she was weak when it comes to argument or fighting, but she hated it when someone disturbs her peace.

" I'm going to share my property with you equally, so don't worry" Evan said.

Rebel was stunned, she wasn't worrying about that, she was only remembering the past. Evan must think she is some kind of gold digger, she naturally frowned at this.

" Like i said, i don't need your filthy property, this divorce is all i need" Rebel said.

Evan frowned and turned away looking angry, What did she say that made him angry?.

" I hope you delete my contact and any trace of me from your life, we are divorced now" Rebel said.

" I don't have your contact information and i didn't accept you into my life from the beginning so no trace of you at all " he said coldly without looking at her, Rebel felt a sharp pang in her heart as she heard those words.
