Tanjiro and Rui arrive at the cave,it is completely abandoned,filled with scrolls. Rui:Is this the place master? Tanjiro:Yes.Let's see what we can learn. Tanjiro opens some of the scrolls,they mention the origin of the soryu style.Tanjiro opens more and finds the meaning. Tanjiro(reading):The soryu style is a fighting style meant for taking one's life or knocking a foe unconscious,as well as disarming them. With complete mastery,one young child could end armies of grown and experienced swordsmen. Rui:It sounds like this might be invaluable to your mission master. Tanjiro:Yes it does.Let's set this up. Tanjiro finds the illustration scrolls and sets them up.He follows the stances and movements.Slowly but surely,Tanjiro gets the movements and techniques down. Rui:How is it going? Tanjiro:Not sure,I'm following the teachings but I'm not sure how actually good I am at this. Rui:May I help you test? Tanjiro:Please do. Rui generates and circulates the strings into a sword. Tanjiro takes the "bell splinter" stance.The bell splitter is a technique for destroying weapons, perfect for this situation.Rui swings his sword, Tanjiro waits patiently until til the sword gets closer,and then...he strikes!Tanjiro strikes the side of the sword and breaks it in two.Rui widens his eyes in shock,he was confident in his master's capabilities,but this was done not even using strength,this was skill. Rui:Amazing! Tanjiro:And that's just a beginner's technique, the advanced teachings in these scrolls illustrate going for the neck,it's perfect.Lethal for human and demon. Rui:Humans? Tanjiro:Yes,whether human or demon,people will get in our way.We need to be prepared. Rui:Understood. Tanjiro practices and refines the teachings with rui's help. Tanjiro:Actually,maybe another way to master this is to train the body as well.I've been strong thanks to my symbiote,but if I myself get stronger,then the symbiote should make me even more powerful. Tanjiro and Rui step out and look around. Rui:We could use the trail from the foot of the mountain up to this cave as a track for running. Tanjiro:And we could chop up some of these trees so we can use them for lifting. The two get started and chop up trees and lay them out,they use rui's webs to wrap the trees together to turn them into makeshift weights. Tanjiro begins lifting the weights and running up the mountain.
One whole week later Tanjiro sits down,confident that he has become stronger and mastered the soryu style. Rui:What now master? Tanjiro:You must go back Tamayo,and I must return home.I've been gone for too long.They must be worried about me. Rui:"They" master? Tanjiro:My family.I will take you back now, come The two go all the way back to the city.As they walk,Tanjiro notices Rui staring at a small shop. Tanjiro:What is it Rui? Rui:What is this master? Tanjiro:This is ramen.I haven't actually tried it myself,but I have heard good things. Ramen seller:Hey!Yall want some ramen,or just looking for somewhere to get warm? Tanjiro:Ah,yes.We would like some ramen please. The man cooks up batches of ramen and serves it.The two eat it and are amazed.It's delicious. Their faces light up like two miniature suns as their faces were like joyful infants.The man is brought to joy by their reactions. Tanjiro:Thank you!I assume we owe you money? Ramen seller:Ah no,I'm satisfied enough.Just spread the word! Tanjiro and Rui nod and walk to Tamayo's house.They enter to see the mother reading. Tanjiro:Hello. Mother:Your back! The mother stands back up and approaches the two. Tanjiro:Where is Tamayo? Mother:She's out with Yushiro in the city.But she does have something for you.A map. The mother pulls a map off of a table and hands it to Tanjiro.It has numerous X's laced across it. Mother:She says there has been a surge of demons rising all around Japan. Tanjiro:I will go see my family first,but I will return and take care of this. Tanjiro leaves and heads back,back to his home.
Hours later Tanjiro arrives back at the snowy mountains. He sees his house and walks up to it.He walks to the house and knocks on the door.His mother comes to open the door with haste.Her face lights up as tanjiro smiles. Tanjiro:Mother. Kie:My boy. Kie hugs her son and brings him into the house.Tanjiro is surprised to only see his two youngest siblings. Tanjiro:Where are the others? Kie:They're out grabbing the coal right now. They've been getting us coal ever since you left. Tanjiro:Ah. Suddenly,the family hears nezuko's voice. Nezuko:Tanjiro! The family turns around to see Nezuko and the remainder of the kamado family.The family hugs tanjiro and they all sit down.Kire prepares supper as the rest of the family sits down and converses. Nezuko:Tell us about your journey! Tanjiro:It's been something for sure.I met a lot of people,people I didn't like,and people who have actually become my friends.What about you all though? Nezuko:It's been great!I even learned a cool power. Tanjiro:Power? Nezuko stands up and extends her hand out, pink flames surround her arm.

Tanjiro:Whoa! Nezuko:It's my blood,it turns into fire that I can manipulate as I wish. Tanjiro:That's great Nezuko! Nezuko:This way,I can protect us from anybody while you're gone tanjiro! Tanjiro rubs Nezuko's head. Tanjiro:Sounds good. Kie comes with the food and serves it.The kamado family eats the food and warmly reconciles.Tanjiro goes to his room and reminisces on his life before the symbiote,so simple,so small,so sweet.And then it all changed that one day.Tanjiro regrets nothing now however,only the fact that he didn't end Muzan that day.It would have all been over then and there.But still,Tanjiro only needs to find him now.Tanjiro exits his room and approaches his family.He kneels down as they all hug him. Tanjiro:I love you all,but I have to leave again. But I promise,this time will be the last time. After the journey I am going to take,I will never have reason to leave this place again.I love you all. Tanjiro embraces his family and sets out, determined that this will be the last time he must leave his home.
