Yagyhavi's pov:

I quickly opened my phone and dialed Rashmi's number.

The bell rang, and rang, but she didn't pick up. Next, I dialed Aakriti's number. The same thing happened again; the bell rang, but no one answered.

My worry grew with each passing second.

I was about to call Navya when suddenly a WhatsApp message appeared on my phone.

It was from Rashmi.

I quickly opened her message and saw that she had shared her live location. Confusion crossed my face as I tried to understand the location she had shared.

It was "The Rajvanshi Mansion," the mansion that Samar had bought.

"What is she doing there?" I wondered.

Despite my confusion, I felt a sense of relief knowing she was safe and is at Samar's place.

I quickly made my way towards the Rajvanshi Mansion, my mind racing with questions about why my friends were at Samar's place.

After a few minutes, I finally arrived.

The first thing I noticed was the nameplate near the main gate.

Every time I had come here to drop off a letter, I had never paid attention to it. Previously, the nameplate read "Rajvanshi Mansion."

Now, it has been changed to "Rajvansh's Residence."

"Is Samar's surname is Rajvansh?" I thought in my mind.

As I approached the gate, a security guard came and opened it for me.

I looked at him, saying a small "thanks," but he remained silent, his face emotionless. I stepped through the gate, a sense of unease settling in.
My friends were here, but why? What was going on inside this mansion? These questions were constantly coming to my mind.

Taking a deep breath, I walked towards the entrance, my heart pounding with each step.

The path seemed longer, the mansion looming ominously in the twilight.

I reached near the door and pushed it to open it. The door creaked open slowly, revealing nothing but darkness.

Inside, there wasn't a single light on; the place was shrouded in complete darkness.

I hesitated, then took a step forward, crossing the threshold.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Rashmi?" I called out, my voice trembling slightly as it echoed in the void. The silence that followed was unsettling, making my heart race faster.

As I took another step, I strained my ears, hoping to hear something—anything—that would indicate I wasn't alone in this eerie place.

"Well, well, look who is finally here," Suddenly I heard a man's deep voice and I stopped in my tracks.

The voice seemed neither too close nor too far.

"Who's there?" I called out, my voice echoing in the darkness. The only response was the oppressive silence that followed, heightening my sense of dread.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.

"Rashmi? Aakriti? Navya? Are you here?" I called out again, hoping for a familiar voice to answer. The air around me felt thick with anticipation as I waited, unsure of what—or who—might emerge from the shadows.
