Chapter Thirteen
"Please, princess. Please let us down."
Scarlette set another slice of peach pie in front of me. It had taken a bit of work to get all of us, me, Scarlette, my knights and Sena in one place. I pushed the bowl of ice cream he'd yet to touch closer to him. "You shouldn't waste it; it takes a bit of work to keep it from melting."
Sena disturbed gaze didn't budge from the four men who were currently hanging by their ankles over the side of the upper ramparts of the knight dorms. Dalton, Cilios and Boros were each taking turns loosening their holds which would rouse screams of terror form Sena's bullies.
"You did say you were mad," Sena managed to squeeze out as he faced me. "Are you planning to kill them?"
I hummed while swallowing my delicious piece of pie. The peachy flavor was perfect on such a hot day. If it hadn't been a promise I made, I wouldn't have rushed punishment.
Placing my now clean spoon down, I leaned back. "Well, it's really up to you what I do next."
"Me?" Sena snapped his eyes back to the four men when one of their ropes unraveled. Cilios shouted out in alarm.
"oh, looks like fates taken the choice out of your hands."
Accidents were prone to happen when you were playing with boys who were pure muscle and kept struggling. Well, I'd already prepared my story for my father emperor when he inevitably decided to investigate just to have something over my head.
"Stop!"
The falling boys body was stopped short by a bright white magic circle that rotated beneath him as his body grew limp midair.
Sena, who'd jumped to his feet frantically ran over to his tormentor and checked his pulse. "He's alive," he breathed out sounding relieved.
"Bummer," I muttered taking the wet cloth from Scarlette to wipe my hands. "The world would do well without such an annoyance."
"I hope you're not going to make it a habit, to torment the students here." An annoyingly familiar voice spoke up.
Emilia, I knew she wouldn't stay quiet.
She approached with her worshipers, a bunch of well manipulated garbage who'd won some bet with God for their looks and talent.
Okay, I may be I'm judging them too harshly for solely having a connection with Emilia.
One of them had green hair, and deep forest-colored eyes. His hand glowed as he slowly brought the unlucky student down. Once he was fully settled on the ground, moss head turned and glowered at me. "I expected more from someone from the Argyos royal family."
I scoffed, "Really, then you're so very naïve. Or maybe you're not from here is that it Moss boy."
