Geno nodded, before walking away, Darla slowly followed behind him.
she felt the stares of the other girls as she left, but she focused on walking with Geno to his small office.

they approached the office, Geno opening the door and walking in, holding it open for Darla,
who took a breath before walking inside,

seeing that there was a single chair in front of his desk, she sat down in it and pulled her bag onto her lap. squirming in the uncomfortable seat trying to get at least a little comfortable as she leaned back in the chair.

Geno walked over to the other side, sitting down on his own chair.
he sat in silence for a moment, his hands wandering through papers that littered his desk but weirdly organized, he then stopped on a certain one, holding it with one hand well the other rested on his chin.

" Darla Makinson, " he read off the paper.
before he looked Dar in the eyes, a serious look was on his face, Darla smiled back at the grey haired coach.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush. " he said.

Darla shifted in her seat, straightening up and gripping onto her backpack straps, " okay "
she said slowly, her eyes glued onto the coach.

" you are a hell of a player, a great point guard, led Iowa too many great wins"
Geno said, still staring into her eyes.

" lucky too have you. "

he then paused, as if he was deciding if he should say his next words, " however, I need you to know my rules when it comes to this team. since your new here",

Darlas fingers dug at her nail beds as she felt herself tense up, " of course, coach. what are the rules? " she asked quietly.

Geno looked at her for a second, still having a soft smile face before speaking.
" firstly, no unnecessary fights, don't bring drugs into this facility, get along with your teammates, and no fraternizing with anyone." he paused, looking at her for her reaction before continuing, " no dating."

Darla didn't care about dating, not like she was going too anyways.

they finished their quick talk as Geno looked at the clock, " practice stars in 15 " he mumbled as he stood up.

Darla following him.

Geno opened the door back too the gym, and Dar could feel her heart race at the many eyes on her again.

she swallowed nervously as Geno lead her to the center, " everyone! " he said loudly to get their attention.
every single pair of eyes in the gym turned to them.

Darla shuffled awkwardly standing next to coach as all the girls huddled around them, darla looked at nika as she wore a mean expression, quickly looking away letting her eyes wander through all the girls.

" we have our newest addition to the team here, " Geno said before turning to Darla.
she could just feel everyone staring at her,

Geno gently pushed her forward, " say hi. "

" hi, i'm darla...-, Darla makinson" she said slowly, looking for azzis eyes to sooth her nerves,

Kk arnold, then spoke,

" oh we know who you are, crazy gooood girly pops, " she said causing all the girls too laugh and Darla cracking a small smile.

Dar looked around at the girls before her gaze locked on Azzi's.
Azzi gave her a small smile, but Darla couldn't help but notice Nika's expression.
It seemed as if she was.. glaring at her.

" Darla, introduce yourself for us", coach said smiling at the girl,

all the girls already knew of darla, mostly from the internet fan girling over her, because. let's admit it, Darla's hot, boxes, and is crazy good at basketball.
