Charles sat down on the desk like normal while Edwin sighed sitting in the chair spinning around absently “that case was brills!” Charels exclames looking back at his best mate of 30 years Edwin who nods in agreement spinning a pen between his fingers absently “I do agree although it could have gone a bit quicker if not for the… distractions” Edwin replied charels snorted rolling his eyes “you talking about that flashing sign you where stairing at” charels says jokingly tapping his best mate on the head with a random pen. Edwin looks up at charels “no I was actuly referencing to you and crystal taking five minutes to kiss” charels nodded getting a thuaghtfule and mastevius look on his face “that right mate” he says spinning so he was now facing Edwin  “what else you think I'm talking about you haven't been that destracted since the great pelicon disaster of 95” charels laughs lightly “suppose so” he says quietly looking at Edwin who had only now  become awear of his gaze “charels why are you looking at me like that I know that look a penny for your thoughts” charels smirk grows at this “you actually mate” Edwin shot him a worryd look “is that a good thing or should I be worryed”  “hardly a bad thing unless you think curiosity and confushion a bad thing” charels responded his head in his hands and his elbows on his knees looking at Edwin  “shurly not then what are you thinking about” Edwin says rising a eyebrow and looking up at charels they where close together however this had become the norm for them “I've never kissed a boy” charels responds thoughtful making Edwin look up tilting his head “I thuaght you where straight” charels laughs “straight from hell maybe… . Sorry that was really bad I'll shut up” Edwin just shook his head stifling a chuckle looking at Edwin  “shurly not then what are you thinking about” Edwin says rising a eyebrow and looking up at charels they where close together however this had become the norm for them “I've never kissed a boy” charels responds thoughtful making Edwin look up tilting his head “I thuaght you where straight” charels laughs “straight from hell maybe… . Sorry that was really bad I'll shut up” Edwin just shook his head stifling a chuckle he didn't laugh often however charles made making him laugh look easy “I don't know how to respond to that” charles rolled his eyes “I don't know I'm just thinking” “I wouldn't know my first kiss was a crow” Edwin responds looking back at his book he had grabbed “that doesn't count it was unwanted and not the real pleasure of a kiss the point of a kiss is supposed to be pleasurable not intruding you know” charles responds smiling fondly at his friend “no I don't know I'm not exactly a social person” “I know mate but haven't you  wondered before” charles asked with a half smirk on his face “many many times before” “wanna find out” charles says his smirk growing. The words didn't register to Edwin at first. That was until he thought about what Charles had said he gently spun from side to side of the chair, still the book he held was coming closed as he looked up at Charles with a slightly shocked and flustered expression “what… you want..” He sputtered which made charles smirk wider “yes Edwin now is that a yes or no I would like to know sooner rather than later” in truth the answer was yes but he hadn't expected those words from charles mouth but he managed a half nod which made charles smirk wider and then almost without warning he had pulled him into a exploratory kiss it was soft but slightly clumsy Edwin tensed at first then melted completely feeling alive and warm for the first time in ever when they pulled apart they where still relatively close to each other charles still holding onto Edwins shoulders “you know I might want seconds sometime” charles says slightly horse and smirking Edwin couldn't even respond he was red as red could be but a satisfied look on his face as if he had been waiting for that since the universe started. Little did they know Niko had seen it all and was fangirling hard. “Besides,” added Charles, “me and Crystal never said anything official, people nearly assumed that but as of right now we're a… what do people nowadays call it a situationship? “ that got a nod from Edwin who was wide eyed and jittery “yeah.. Yeah that's what people call it… or friends with benefits'' Edwin murmurs in a shaky voice charles smiles a genuine smile for once “you alright there you look a bit red” he says teasingly “I don't know in all honesty” Edwin replays looking down making charles chuckle that's when crystal walked in saying “hay  can I ask-... Never mind sorry to ruin the moment” she says immediately turning around to leave making charles collapse laughing almost falling off the desk but Edwin caught him steading him with a fond sigh
