"I don't care Jack Will says about Christmas. the best holiday in the world. It's so awesome, when I'm wearing the costume! I usually walk with my head down to avoid being seen. But on Halloween, I walk with my head up high. I don't even know who that was. He didn't even know who I was. It's so cool. Especially because people don't like to touch me because they think I'm contagious. oh, yeah, Chewie! Up high! Boom goes the dynamite!"

Auggie and you walked your way to home room, but stopped at the door at the sound of laughing

"It really does look like them" someone laughed

"He reminded me of, like, the shrunken head, you know?" Jullian said

"Or an orch"

"If I looked like him, I'd wear a bag over my head. And don't even get me started on his sister, the girl can't even talk right. Not to mention how she acts." Jullian laughed

You knew, from those voices exactly who they were talking about.

"If I looked like him, I think i'd kill myself." Jack laughed

"Why do you hang out with themso much, Jack?" Jullian asked

"I don't know. Tushman asked me to be his welcome buddy and now he just follows me around everywhere." He said

"That must stink" Mile's laughed

You and auggie stood there, to Stund to live or speak until auggie walked off without you. Causing you to fun off after him.

It was around lunch period now and you decided to stay with your brother. Or atleast your tried to.

What Jack said must've really gotten to him. Every time you tried to interact with him, or hold his hand in the halls like you would usually do. He didn't let you.

You had just left a teachers class room when you saw him walking through the hall, going to the lunch room.

You managed to catch up to him. Tapping him on his shoulder

"What?" He said, seeming annoyed

"W-what's wrong." You asked, trying to see if you could break the attitude of his.

"Nothing!" He snapped. Walking away quicker.

You, again, tried to grab his hand. Until he snapped and turned to you angerly

"Can you just stop being annoying for one second?! I already have to put up with you at home! So what makes you think I'd like to do it here?" He said angerly before storming off.

Tears weld in your eyes as you watched your brother, your best friend, storm away from you as if you did something wrong.

You began to cry and you took off running down the hallways. Trying to make it to where ever before anyone could see you.

"Ompf" your body fell back as you had ran into something, or someone

"Y/n?" It was Mr . Brown

"What's wrong?" He grabbed you by the hand, pulling you off the floor

More tears streamed down your face as you tried to wipe them away. Your put your hands over your ears, beginning to rock yourself back in forth, kick, and breathe heavily.

Mr. Brown knew quickly what was gonna happen and bought you into his classroom where you would have space and no crowds of students looking at you.

"I'm sorry!" You yelled, holding the fabric of your Halloween costume and you curled into a ball ok the floor. Crying even more
