"Mom!" Via exclaimed, walking through the door of the house

"One sec via. Auggie, y/n let's go!" Your mom yelled as she walked out of the kitchen.

"I thought you were at the library." She asked with a smile.

"Um. Yea change of plans." Via said

"Mmhmm." You mom nodded

"Hi I'm Justin." He held out his hand for your mom to shake.

"I'm Isabel."

"Daisy threw up again, like bucket loads. Good thing y/n WASNT there or she would've thrown up too." Auggie said walking in through the back door.

"Bucket loads" your mom chuckled and gave them an awkward smile.

"Um just, this is my little brother auggie." Via introduced

"Hey dude!" He greeted

"Hey. What's that in your case?" Auggie asked "a machine gun?"

"Er, no, it's a fiddle." He said

"You should tell people it's a machine gun. It's way cooler." Auggie said with a smile

"You know what. That's a great idea, you're right."

"We're waiting on y/n then we're going to the grocery store."

"Hmmm." I wonder were she is" via smiled slyly looking behind her near the stairs to see you peaking through the rails.

"Y/nnn" she ushered you over.

"Mmmm." You moved up the stairs a little

Your mom walked near the stairs, grabbed your hand and bought you over " and this is y/n" she said

"Hey!" Justin greeted. You hid behind your mom.

"She's not good with people."

"Mom's making what's it called?"

"Feijioada"

"Mom's making feijioada!"  Auggie said

"It's dad's favorite." Your mom smiled

"You're welcome to stay if you want Justin." She said taking your hand and walking to the door

"Oh, thank you very much! It was nice meeting you."

"Nice to meet you too!" She said

Before leaving auggie turned around and turning to rub his coat while making a kissing face

"Psst. Oy!" Your mom snapped her fingers

"Bye auggie." Via rolled her eyes

"Nothing to see here." she grabbed auggie and pushed him out the door

"It's a gene. Well, it's sort of two genes, but two genes that are identical. And the trouble is. that both of my parents carry the gene at the same time, which is... Well essentially, he won the lottery. Backwards or something. And in another world, I'd look like him. And y/n has autism and she's non verbal.. I'm sorry for telling you that I was an only child.." via said

"Sometimes it's nice to hide a little. I get it. It's okay."  Justin understood
