There was once a girl in a small village in the woods named "Alana". She was the pride and joy of her village. Whenever she smiled, everybody else did. They called her the shining light.
Everything was nice in the village until one dark and stormy night her parents went out into the forest, her father went hunt animals, and her mother gathered herbs for a big supper the village chief had planned.
As Alana was in her room peacefully reading her book of fairytales, she came across the page about witches and wizards. As she read through, she learned of the many elements and tiers that witches had. She was so caught up in her book that she didn't notice faint lights coming towards her family's cottage. She soon heard scratching on her window and looked to see the wind blowing the trees around.
She then ducked under her covers for shelter in fright of the terrible storm happening. Yet, just as she thought things couldn't get worse, the village chief and the rest of the villagers had barged into her room.
"CHIEF THATS HER; THE WITCH IN THE VILLAGE," a fellow villager shouted.
"SIEZE THAT WITCH AND BURN HER ON THE CROSS," the village chief yelled.
H-huh?? What's even going on? I've done nothing to be accused of being a witch, " Alana said, scared.
"What going on is that you're a witch!" Another villager said.
After realizing the situation, Alana grabbed the dagger by her bedside out of fear of the threats the villagers threw at her.
She then made an attempt to shimmy out of her bedroom window before the villagers had time to grab her
As Alana hopped out her window, she tumbled a bit and fell on a bush with a few sticks and branches in it from the tree scratching her window.
Even though she had cuts on her knees from the fall and scratches on her arms and legs from the sticks, she ran into the forest as far as her legs could take her and screamed for help until her throat hurt and her voice was hoarse.
After she determined she wasn't being chased anymore, she calmed down and started looking around only to barely see anything but darkness.
As she ventured further into the forest, she saw a dark figure shifting towards her. She backed up in fear to be safe since she couldn't make out the dark figures features.
Clearly, I noticed Alana backing up the dark figure conveyed closer to her. Alana then started to back up faster. As she backed up, she tripped over a rock hidden by the darkness and stumbled onto the ground.
What she didn't know was that there was a tree behind her with huge rocks around it, so as she fell, her head connected with the rock, and she passed out.
Her vision blurred as she saw the dark figure infront if her. She looked closer with the vision she had left and noticed it was a young man there she then shut her eyes as her body went limp..
