Madison and Castiel Everangel were on Vacation in Haiti to visit Castiel's girlfriend, Acantha, and her parents. Madison looked like an adorable mess to Castiel, her older brother, while Castiel looked so put together to every person that knows him.
"Heyyyy, Cas." Acantha seductively said as she opened her front door and saw Castiel standing there with a bag slung over his shoulder. His sister, Madison, peeked behind him with a backpack on one shoulder. Acantha scoffed in disgust as she saw Madison.
"Hi, can we come in?" Castiel asked as he noticed his girlfriend's disgusted expression.
"You can come in." She said in a jealous tone as she pushed Castiel inside and slammed the door before Madison could get through to follow. She stared at the closed door with wide eyes and jaw dropped.
"YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT AND EXPECT NOTHING TO HAPPEN!!" She heard her brother yell from inside the house, him and his girlfriend must have gotten into an argument, definitely a heated one too.
"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, ASSHOLE!!" Acantha yelled back, both their voices muffled from the door and potentially a few walls.
"YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO LOOK DOWN ON MY SISTER WHEN SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO YOU" Castiel said as his voice got closer to the door.
"YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO IN MY OWN HOME " Acantha shouted at him as he started to turn the knob on the door.
"We're over." He said in a normal volume but still angry voice, trying to calm himself down. "I'm not staying here any longer."
"WHERE WILL YOU GO!?"
"Anywhere far away from here!" He said, opening the door abruptly and slamming it behind him. Castiel had an angry expression as he left the house, but it quickly dissipated when he saw Madison with a worried look.
"Are you alright?" Madison asked gently, placing a hand on his shoulder lightly.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. We need to find a motel or something, we are NOT staying here anymore." He said. Madison nodded in response, they walked a few blocks until they found a bus stop. Both of them got in a bus and scrolled through their phones to find any nearby motels or hotels.
"Would this place be good?" Madison asked, showing her brother her phone. It was a cheap hotel with only two rooms available.
"Are the rooms right beside each other?" Castiel asked, seemingly agreeing that it was good. He would prefer to either share a room or have the rooms right beside each other.
Madison looked at her phone again,
"They aren't. One is on the second floor, the other one is on the other side of the building on the seventh floor." She said, Castiel sighed in response, not too happy about the distance between the two rooms.
"Are there no other places?" Her brother sighed again, running his hand through his hair, tired.
"That we can afford, no""See you later, Maddy." Castiel said before heading to his room on the seventh floor. He gave Madison the room on the second floor in case there was an emergency and they had to evacuate the hotel, so she had an actual chance of getting out in time if something happened.
Castiel went to his room on the seventh floor of the building and got to his room. The room was quite modern and looked expensive, which was kind of weird with how cheap and small it was.
There was a small bathroom with a shower and normal bathroom plumbing and appliances.
"I feel disgusted to have that toxic woman's stench on me. Might as well take a shower right now" He muttered as he closed the bathroom door, getting ready to shower.
He finished his shower and left the bathroom with sweatpants and a black t-shirt, but the ground shook slightly, it was like it was strong on lower floors, but weak on one of the top floors.
Alarms started going off in every room as the trembling grew stronger at an alarming rate, and Castiel knew it was an earthquake. He ran out of his room, going as fast as he could to the stairs. People might think it's faster to use the elevator, but if the building starts crumpling, the elevator will stop and you can't get out.
He sprinted as fast as he could, but the ground was shaking more violently and steps were crumbling behind him. There was a giant hole in the stairs, too big to be able to jump over. Castiel thought for a second too long as the step underneath him gave out.
He felt air rush into his face as he fell into the hole and then, blank.
