"Auggie!" Via rushed into his room, where he was laying on his bed "come on!"

"I don't wanna go to to your stupid high school anyway. I don't care." Auggie rambled

"Auggie not everything in the world is about you!" Via said, sniffling

"What's wrong," auggie asked

You watched as your mom carried Daisy into a cab, wrapped in a blanket

"You're gonna be fine, girlie." Auggie said petting daisys head

"Daddy's gonna meet me there, take care of of your brother n sister." Your mom said

"Yeah." Via nodded

You sat on the couch, staring at the black tv screen.

"Did Daisy really bite mom?" Auggie asked

" Well, um, she was whimpering. And then Mom tried to pick her up and Daisy bit her." Via said

"Do you think the vet can fix her?"  He asked

"She was in a lot of pain, Auggie. She's really old.." she  paused for a minute before continuing "auggie, I want you and y/n to come to my play." She said softly

"Really?" Auggie asked

"Really." Via said, gently placing her arm around his shoulder.

The door opened, revealing your parents. But, Daisy was no where in site. You could tell by the looks on their faces, something wasn't right.

And you were right.

Daisy was gone...

The night, you couldn't sleep. Too distracted on what happened that day. There's no way she was gone. There's just no way. She was old, yea. But she just can't be gone.

You sat up. Holding one of your stuffed animals against you.

You walked out of your room to go downstairs, there, you saw your dad sitting at the table. Crying. This struck something in you. Almost never seeing your parents cry.

"D...daddy" You spoke, slowly making your way towards him, stuffed animal still in hand. You wrapped your arms around him as tears make their way down your face. Fully coming to terms of what had happened. And there was nothing that could change that.

'from the times I've gotten home from therapy, scans or speech. Daisy was here. She was a real friend. And real friends are hard to find. I don't know I'll ever find a friend as good as her...'

It's been a few days, the house began dense and quiet.

Tonight was the night. The night of vias play.

"Sorry. Thank you.." your dad said, squeezing by some people who were already seated

"This is perfectz"

"Here we go. Good seats." Your dad said sitting down.

She handed auggie a pamphlet "see you if you can find vias name in there."

"Glass. Oh no I think I forgot my glasses." Your mom gasped. Tussling through her purse in search of her glasses

"Auggie, y/n you're missing a great episode of Hoardersright here. Starring your mom's purse." Your dad joked, seeing how much stuff your mom kept in there.g

Auggie laughed as your mom kept Russling in her bag.

The lights dimmed as the play began
