Hello everyone,

The last chapter completely dropped in getting votes or comments. You all know that I am a student, it is so hard to maintain writing as well as studying together. I sometimes do my writing without sleeping, so it takes a lot of efforts and commitments to do this work 😶

If there's no recognition for my work I will eventually loose interest and stop the story halfway. It's not that hard for a simple comment or vote. If this continues, I am not going to write. 💔

I uploaded this chapter today only because some readers personally texted me to.

Thank you.

Aman comes home, but something feels different

Aman comes home, but something feels different. We don’t talk the way we usually do. He gives me a brief glance, his eyes distant, before heading to the bathroom. His appearance is disheveled, and a heaviness lingers in his features, a darkness clouding his usual expression.

After taking a shower, he walked straight towards me without a word, wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. We stand there, silently holding each other, the weight of unspoken emotions filling the space between us.

And that's it. We didn't talk after that he lied on his side of the bed and I on mine. I so badly wanted to drag him towards me and makeup before we sleep but my fear about him considering that I am broken resists me from doing exactly that.

The next day when I wake up his side of the bed is empty. If it were any other day he would be waking me up with his kisses or teasings. A tear slides down my temple as I stare at the ceiling.

A ping echoes in the room and I roll around the mattress to take my phone from where it's charging.

Shivanya - Can we talk?

Shivanya - Please Nitu I have to see you.

My heart clenches at the thought of talking to her but I can't have her blame herself for something that was out of anyone's control so I text her back,

Nitya - I'll come by your home today.

Shivanya - I am waiting.

Finally I send a text to Aman saying that I am visiting Shivi and get ready. When I reach downstairs, the family driver is standing there with the door open to the car.

"Good Morning Mrs.Mehra." He says with a slight tilt to his chin.

"Morning." I search for my Scooty, "Is anyone going out today?" I ask looking at the car.

"No madam. Mr.Mehra instructed me to drop you off at Mr.Rajputh's home." He says.

I roll my eyes mentally at his protectiveness. He couldn't even talk to me but still trying to watch out for me.
