On the evening of June 18th, excitement buzzed in Shubman's hotel room in New York. He had been eagerly anticipating Evara's album release ever since she had announced it during their time in the city. Now, as the clock ticked closer to midnight, he couldn't contain his anticipation.

Shubman sat on his bed, headphones on, refreshing his music streaming app repeatedly. He had cleared his schedule for the night, wanting to savour every moment of Evara's new album,

"Anthems."

The title alone resonated with him, conjuring images of powerful melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

As the clock struck midnight, and June 19, rolled in, Shubman quickly navigated to Evara's artist page and found "Anthems" prominently displayed. With a sense of reverence, he pressed play on the first track, eager to immerse himself in her music.

The opening notes filled the room, and Shubman closed his eyes, letting the music wash over him. Each song told a story, weaving together themes of love, perseverance, and the complexities of life.

Evara's voice soared with emotion, her lyrics painting vivid pictures that resonated deeply with Shubman.

He listened intently, allowing himself to be transported by the music. Each track seemed to capture a different facet of Evara's artistry, showcasing her versatility as both a singer and songwriter.

Shubman found himself nodding along to the upbeat anthems and quietly reflecting during the more introspective ballads.

As the album progressed, Shubman's admiration for Evara's talent only grew. He marvelled at her ability to evoke emotions through her music, each song leaving a lasting impression on him.

Midway through the album, a song titled "So American" began to play. The melody was gentle yet hauntingly beautiful, and Shubman was captivated by the poignant lyrics.

He couldn't help but think back to the moments he had shared with Evara in New York—the laughter, the conversations, and the undeniable connection that had sparked between them.

And he couldn't help but remember telling Ishan long back, how Evara seemed "So American."

With each passing song, Shubman felt a deeper appreciation for Evara's artistry and the depth of her talent. He knew that "Anthems" was more than just an album—it was a testament to Evara's journey as an artist and a reflection of her passion for music.

As the final notes of the last track faded away, Shubman sat in silence for a moment, letting the music linger in his mind. He felt a sense of gratitude for having crossed paths with someone like

Evara, whose music had touched his heart in ways he hadn't expected.

With a contented sigh, Shubman removed his headphones and glanced out at the city skyline, now bathed in the soft glow of night.
