Back in Time

I wish I could go back in time

When I was still left with some time.

I wonder what all went so wrong

That made sure that my smile's all gone.

I wonder what I could go change

So that this life won't turn so strange.

I thought my life was bed of thorns

When it was just a single prick.

I thought I'd make my life all mine

And live with peace with all sweet time.

But  life turned to be a big sour lime

Where my soul left the scene of crime.

I hoped to always boast out loud

That I had made my parents proud.

I hoped to always be in crowd

When I was myself with the doubt.

But I didn't get  benefit of doubt,

As I could never make them proud.

Some are left with big old dreams,

While some are truly living the gleams.

Some are  keeping fingers tight

While some have gotten all their right.

Some say it's the 'KARMA OF PAST',

While some say it's your present that last.

We live in the world full of creeps,

Who leave no chance to make us weep.

In this rat race we soon forget

the life's not truly being perfect.

We need a change in this mindset,

That makes sure we live in regret.

Life is just a solo race

Where we compete with just ourselves.

To bring kindness and happiness,

To make this world a better place

Where we don't wish to go back in time,

And always are left with some time.
