Prologue

A boy walks through the streets of the city while it pours heavily, an umbrella over his head as he looks to the sky.

"Rain again..."

He says to himself, continuing on his way to wherever he needs to go, passing by closed stores and houses with their lights on.

Unusual quiet from the busy town at night, cars driving by breaking the silence of his walk.

A crow, a beautiful white crow watches his every move before flying off to report back to its mistress.

Click..click..click..squeak

The door opens when the boy reaches home, everything silent like always, only broken by the muffled sounds of thunder and the rain hitting the window. A picture frame stands on the table, a picture, a photo, a memory.

The young boy smiles in the picture with two adults by his side, the faces of the two adults blurred as if it has been broken like a record player.

*Sigh* "That picture seems to have lost its color a bit, wonder how long it's been since I had that."

Arlo says to no one in the empty room, looking around, the house is empty, but cozy.

"Caw caw!" The crow flies in, landing on the arm of its mistress high above the clouds, a peachy hand offering it a small treat for a reward. A small, distant smile on her face.

"You found someone who you believe could be eye candy for someone like me? Perfect, you did a good job, Xi."

Heterochromia eyes glaze over to the blue and green planet called earth, that smile turning into an amused smirk.

"I have to go visit that mortal that my beautiful Xi found, wonder if they are really that eye catching. I mean, being deceitful won't hurt, right? Heh..keep an eye on that mortal, Xi.."
